    Crawler gears should be #1 if serious about rock crawling.

      I think they’d definitely help for dedicated rock crawling. Like if you had a course set up or somewhere you can carry it to and crawl. I’m a big trail guy so the majority of my trucks gotta be able to get down the trail about as fast as I can hike it. Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment!

    Great video! im definitely thinking im going to upgrade the shocks and bearings first, is the 53mm about the same height as stock? Im surprised how quickly the stock shocks fail, but they have to keep cost down somehow i get it

      Thank you! Yes the 53mm shocks should be a direct replacement for the stock ones. I was also surprised at how bad the stock shocks were because Traxxas shocks are usually really good! I’ve had really great luck with Injora shocks on multiple rigs now so I would definitely recommend them.

    just got one. great advice! when you say axles and brass, are you upgrading the whole axles or just brass parts on the stock axles? also have you looked into or used any of the portal axles or portal axle conversion kits?

    • @Bash_TheStampede
      @Bash_TheStampede  Год назад

      Thank you! I hope you like the one you just picked up. So on my TRX4M build I went ahead and got the brass parts for the stock axles but either way would be a good route as long as you stay with the same brand to avoid compatibility issues. I have done whole axles on other builds and have been happy with how easy it is to just swap the axles and have almost everything done. I haven’t tried any of the portal axles yet. I’ve been looking at the ones from MEUS and think I may throw them on something in the near future! They look awesome!

    good work thanks i bought the 48t motor but why doesn't the 87t stock motor have more torurk

    • @Bash_TheStampede
      @Bash_TheStampede  Год назад

      I'm not sure exactly why to be honest. I know people have said that higher turns = more torque but there must be more to it. I hope you're enjoying your 48t motor. Those Injora motors are a steal and give these little trucks a lot more oomf! Thanks for your comment, and thank you for watching!

    Hello from Mallorca, Spain. I really liked your video. I’ve just wondering if you don’t mind to put in the comments, maybe, the exactly brand and models of yours upgrades.
    Thanks in advance.

      Hello and thank you for your kind words. Yes, I’ll add a comment with the exact parts that I’ve used for these upgrades to make it easier for you guys to hunt them down. Just keep in mind that a lot of upgrade manufacturers are making parts that are as good or maybe even better than the ones I’ve used so feel free to explore what else is out there!

    Hey im new here to the RC crawlers. I Have a question what is the difference between the two motors 48T and 55T?

    • @Bash_TheStampede
      @Bash_TheStampede  Год назад +1

      A lower turn motor is typically more powerful than a higher turn motor. You might see a little more torque out of a higher turn motor but with the Injora motors the 48T seems to be a little more powerful overall. Not noticing much of a torque bump with the 55 turn with these two. Thanks for watching and I hope I was able to help!

    You need a better microphone setup. Sound sounds very hollow

      I know this video has such an echo in it! I’m stuck with the on camera mic for now but definitely plan to upgrade it. It sounds ok in some areas but in this particular room it’s not the best. Hopefully soon! Also thank you for your comment and suggestion!

    Instead of just being in camera all the time show us example of the upgrades please. Also improve the sound

      Thanks for the suggestion! I agree it would make sense to cut away and show some of the upgraded parts more closely!
