    PLEASE hear my story. I had rectal prolapse caused by IBS and bad guy bacteria. I was told there's no cure and I need surgery. I then reduced my Wheat foods and sugary foods. Increased vegetables and sour fruits. For Carbs I eat Oatmeal, Potatoes and Rice. IMPORTANT. I'm drinking 2 Tablespoons of Pure Olive Oil first thing in the morning. I make sure I drink warm water after every meal. It's been 6 months and my Prolapse is completely gone. Thank God.

I also suffer from hemorrhoids from the birth of my children as well. When the doctor said push, I just pushed as if my life depended on it, as it did. Hence, hemorrhoids. Hi Michelle. I am trying to take a holistic approach to my incontinence issues. I apparently have a slight rectal prolapse that following a hysterectomy 5 years ago, so I will be assessed by a physician. My issue is not softening but solidifying the stool to help control it. Because I can't stop it sometimes. I am focussing on the microbiome, reducing caffeine and alcohol, eating soluable fibre (oatmeal, bananas) before I have coffee in the morning. I think strengthening my pelvic floor is going to help a lot. Thanks for your instructive and compassionate videos.

    Hello Michelle. I am 24 years old. Had a long history with constipation. Often strained. I have mucosal prolapse. Visited the doctor. He said that I should take a supplements with fiber, don't strain and do Kegels daily. He also said that the prolapse not only will get worse but can be improved in time. Unfortunately I read a lot of articles about this and all of them is saying that the only option to improve the prolapse is by surgery. Is it possible for prolapse to improve or be reversed by strengthening pelvic floor muscles? Thank you for making all these videos with useful advice❤

    • @michellephysio
      @michellephysio  7 месяцев назад +3

      @MagosiaCiszek Hi there, thank you for sharing your concerns so generously, I hope this information helps you and others in a similar situation. Every one is different with regards to prolapse progression. This is because many factors are involved; tissue laxity, bowel issues, abdominal body fat, bowel emptying pattern, pelvic floor muscle function and more. This is why no one can accurately predict an individual's prolapse progression rate however there are factors such as those I've listed that can influence risk of progression. Surgery is the option when the rectal prolapse protrudes out of the anus and can't be repositioned to stay within the anus. When young, the surgical repair needs to last for a long time so it's usually prudent to wait, reduce risks as much as possible rather than opt for prolapse repair just with a mucosal prolapse (this is the minor form of rectal prolapse). Surgical procedures are improving all the time too so this is another factor supporting risk reduction rather than opting for surgery too soon. Yes Kegel exercises, dietary management to keep the stool soft and well formed. body weight management and also correct bowel emptying patterning to avoid straining you can watch here too ruclips.net/video/QDk93cvZAuk/видео.htmlsi=p2aYeXVF2EOJQRcS I hope that this information is helpful. Seeing a pelvic floor physiotherapist is also a good idea to assist you with management strategies too if you are able to access one. Wishing you all the very best 🙏🏽💕

    Please get a squatty potty guys! If you can't get one, use a small stool or a box or shoe box, stacked pillows, etc. so that your knees go slightly higher than your hips while pooping. It aligns your colon and stops stools from pressing into the back side of your vaginal wall.
    1/3 cup of "Bran Buds" (cereal) gives you your adult fiber count for the whole day. The box is white and green, by Kellogg's. 3 to 4 days a week I eat 1/3 cup with one 3 oz. Activia yogurt along with 2 tsp chia seeds mixed. And of course 1 + cup ice water afterwards. Also 3 to 4 days a week I eat steamed broccoli, sometimes mixed with steamed cauliflower or just steamed cauliflower but I add garlic (whether minced or powder). Some days I eat black, seedless, grapes and peeled apple, sliced with peanut butter. Also pistachios and walnuts. I take a probiotic 2 times a week to help with regularity too. I eat other things but these above helped me a lot.

    I can relate so much to this video. I’ve also experienced anal prolapse, and it was like being hit by an invisible force stronger than any jutsu. At first, it felt like I was battling an unbeatable enemy, but just like Naruto never gives up, I had to keep fighting. One day, I discovered a hidden healer deep within the enchanted forest near my village, like finding a secret scroll that could unlock my next level of power.
    The healer taught me a rare and ancient jutsu, one that required deep concentration, chakra control, and resilience. It was similar to a healing ninjutsu Tsunade might use! With a mixture of mystical herbs and a potion that had to be brewed under the full moon, I performed the hand signs, focused my chakra, and began the healing process.
    Slowly but surely, the pain subsided, and I felt the healing energy flow through me like Naruto mastering Sage Mode. As a final gift, the healer gave me a crystal talisman, a protective charm, like something you’d expect from Jiraiya’s scrolls, to guard me against future afflictions.
    For anyone going through this, just remember: like Naruto taught us, never give up! The power to heal is within you-believe it! 💜💪🍥

    I don't strain anymore since I have diarrhea a majority of the time. My prolapse is only there when pooping at all (not even straining) and the opening is so small that in order to poop without straining even with diarrhea (not completely liquid) that I have to use my fingers and push back on it for anything to come out at all. I used to be overweight but now I'm at a normal range and I don't lift heavy. This is causing my anus to bleed from irritation and many many days without eating anything at all from the pain. I have tried the exercises and they seem to do nothing at all. I heard surgery is more risky and would not be worth having at 15 (according to the GI doctor) is there literally anything else?

    I just had surgery for mucosal prolapse and hemorrhoidectomy (internal hemorrhoids) last Thursday at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. It's a painful surgery but I had no choice. I was born with a birth defect called "imperforate anus" and it's causing me issues as I get older. My mucousal prolapse would come out every single day, no matter the ease, or difficulty, of my BM. I had to "push" it back inside afterwards everytime. Unfortunately, the surgeon told me "you'll require multiple surgeries in the future" as this birth defect is the cause of my issue's. These surgeries ain't no joke. It's painful.

      @@d3stroyah, phenomenal. Awesome. Best I've ever been in my life. Seriously. I'd go through it again tomorrow if necessary. It wasn't as bad as I expected, although the actual "healing" took a lot longer than I anticipated. I went back to work after 2.5 weeks off and was good. It's just that last 20% that seems to go on and on to fully heal. It took about 3 - 4 months until it was truly fully healed. But those few months weren't painful or bothersome. It just wasn't fully healed until than. But I'm ecstatic at the outcome. Would highly recommend my surgeon, and I'd definitely do it again if need be. The end result exceeded my expectations and it's been 6 months since I had the surgery and I still feel great. No problems any more at all.

      @@d3stroyah for internal hemmoroids he did standard "partially closed hemmoroidectomy". He used standard scalpel and / or "scissors". Because I did NOT have a "full prolapse" but a partial, or "mucousal prolapse", he cut that excess tissue out and I did have a bunch of internal sutures from both procedures. But he used "Exparel" long lasting local anestitic and that stuff is WONDERFUL. I did NOT feel ANY pain, needed no pain med's at all, until day 3 when the Exparel starts to wear off. Than I only required pain med's for days 4, 5, and 6. Than nothing. Those 3 days (4, 5, 6) were the most painful. But days 1, 2, and 3 I felt absolutely NOTHING at all. I highly recommend finding a surgeon who uses Exparil.

      @Drewg351 2 года назад +6

      @@d3stroyah I forgot. He said for smallee prolapse he does like a "Delorme procedure". I forgot about that. This was done by a highly skilled surgeon at the world renowned "Mayo Clinic" in Rochester, MN. I had seen two other surgeons at two local hospitals, but neither were confident they could do the procedure. I was born with an "imperforate anus" and that created some additional concerns and issues. Both initial doctors were concerned with "fecal incontinence" and told me "I was high risk", so I went to the Mayo Clinic as they deal with cases like this from all around the world. My surgeon was confident he could take care for me and said "you won't have issues with fecal incontinence. I'm confident of that".
      Best decision I ever made. He did a phenomenal job and I'm doing fantastic since surgery.

      @Yvonne Cabelita great question this can be confusing. Hemorrhoids involve the rectal veins and sometimes they prolapse from the anus (or move out i.e. external hemorrhoids). Most likely hemorrhoid from stress and will go away with better sleep , water consumption increase , and relaxation. Unless you've been straining during defecation exponentially or been practicing anal penetration during sex / masturbation it is unlikely to be a prolapse. Go to the GP for assessment if you're not sure and want to treat it.
