- What is your favorite Xbox 360 memory?
Growing up I was always a big Nintendo kid, but surprisingly my favorite console wasn't the DS, Wii, or 3DS... Instead, my favorite childhood console was the XBOX 360. This console has had a huge impact on my life and today I wanted to take a little nostalgic look back at the many memories I made with it.

You missed out on the golden years of the 360, early years 2006-2009 was the best times to be on Xbox 360 it was a moment you had to be there for.
360 is the best gaming console ever produced, the games, the UI and notification sound, the controller, it was all perfect. The impact of Xbox Live is just unmatched, from the game and party chat to messages, the toxicity, the friendships formed, online on the 360 was just GOD tier. I miss the simple years of 2007 - 2012, so many insane games from that period. I kinda feel sorry for people who didn't own the Original Xbox before the 360, it felt like a true evolution. My childhood is all on the OG Xbox and 360, will forever hold this era of gaming to the peak that can never be topped.
With Sony and Nintendo we can argue all we want with what console they peaked, but it's undeniable that Microsoft's peak was with the 360.
Sony peaked with the ps2 and Nintendo has peaked with the switch
MW2, LEGO games, Arkham Asylum, the BEST Assassin’s Creed Games… my childhood right there.

My first games were Blazing Angels , Skate 2, and Halo 3. Got very fortunate there.
I can say that this console was a huge part in my life that i honestly can say it's the most memoriable console i have ever owned. Everytime i would come home from school my sister and some friends would boot up Minecraft and play all day until bed time.

i feel like I've never got to enjoy my 360 to the fullest...
my mom had bought me SO many great games i would've really enjoyed nowadays, but yet i was so ignorant and disliked most of the ones she bought that i played and asked for her to refund them and buy "better" ones, i hate myself for not being grateful for most of the games i received...

I dont have a 360 ( i used to) but i hear that a lot of people love it.
The indie marketplace was my favorite, it’s since been shut down. Games for a dollar, castleminer z, total miner forge, avatar death match or whatever that one was 🤣. Great times.
While I never grew up when it came out, its super underrated since I've played my dads. He's actually playing our 360 rn lmao
Incredibly, I only got my Xbox 360 in 2018, at the time I only played Minecraft and Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (which actually made me a Sonic fan) Even though they were simple games I was addicted to them, especially Minecraft, I had been playing Minecraft since 2013 but I had never seen anything like Minecraft on Xbox 360, there was something different about it that Minecraft Java didn't, either way the Xbox 360 will always have a special place in my heart

The best game ever on the 360 is Minecraft, but more specifically the Christmas mashup world in split screen while it’s dark outside

i remember playing this forever when i was little. star wars complete saga, kung fu panda, angry birds star wars, skylanders, and the absolute legend that was lego dimensions.

The Xbox 360 is my childhood console. Lego Batman 2, lego marvel, and minecraft are my childhood
I got my Xbox 360 in 2008 with lost oddessy and halo 3 Great system and nowadays its one of the best systems for arcade games especially shmups :)
I might consider a 360/OG someday. The newer ones are kinda boring and blend in with each other too easily.

I somewhat grew up with my cousins Xbox 360 yes I grew up mostly with Nintendo so my history is with them but I remember playing Kameo Power of Elements,Sneak King(Yes I actually played it),and Tomb Raider Legends. I intend to pick up a 360 eventually to play the rest of the Library but I'm more Nostalgic for the Wii Frankly.

Uh that time I got plants vs zombies for the xbox 360 and then 1 day later I got the og sky lander for my birthday
My favorite memory for the Xbox 360 was when I got Skylanders superchargers I remember playing it until the end of the game I still have the 360 but now I have every single Skylanders game for the 360
spending hundreds of hours on Minecraft
It was buying an HD TV on a Black Friday to play split screen Minecraft with my younger bro. Good times. :)

Like Nintendo.... I cannot agree with such a thing, to me after coming from such values as the 80 usd 2ds and Nintendo selects... The switch feels like a total scam once I looked really into it I mean 350 just for a oled screen and ethernet and 2015 hardware?? On top of that the games mostly cost 47-60 usd used or new??? And then in 2018 online was made paid? And then some games started being rushed out recently like animal crossing new horizons and Pokémon violet?? And on top of that the switch's ui is just a laggy web browser running Javascript... Nintendo is gone for me, now they are a greedy company, and I been with them for my childhood like I'm 17 and I just realized how awful Nintendo has become I had the DS Lite from the switch oled and I quit Nintendo until they get their act together, I'm just not rich enough or find Nintendo practices worth my money to keep buying into the switch, I'll always like the previous Nintendo consoles even the wii U but the switch was a major step back
