I like how consistent it is with Remake. It’s going to be great to play Remake (again) right before this comes out and seamlessly go from Remake to Rebirth and continue the journey.
I want this game just for nibelheim incident. So obessed with that story. Damn it looks so good too. Man. I cant wait for pc to come out so i can mod it. I just want zack to replace cloud and do a mixture of this and crisis core reunion to have the full experience of the nibelheim incident. Also... God sephy looks like to be one of the nicest people ever. Tragic.
When Sephiroth warning Tifa to get back...He's such a great protector because he cares about innocent people to get injure from the fight. 1st class soldier , Sephiroth
Playing through this scene is like in a sense plaything through the chapter that Crisis Core was deprived of. Actually a lot of Crisis Core story was cut due to the company not wanting to follow the original ideas. I also really hope we get to see the scene in the flashback of Cloud riding in the back of the truck with Sephiroth and the other two infantryman. Then the scene of the green dragaon attack and the battle that ensues which is iconic and shows how easily Sephiroth dispatches it. The other scenes are Cloud exploring Midgar, seeing his mom, and then the iconic photo. The last scene that's important is the collapsing bridge scene and the loss of one of the infantrymen as Sephiroth says their mission is very important and so they must continue on.
I reckon it'd have been more flavourful if Sepiroth didn't just follow Cloud as you play, but rather wanders off on his own, and perhaps even only occasionally joins battles.
Is it February 29th yet? Lol. So hyped for this upcoming game. I'm a little disappointed that the saved games from remake won't carry over to rebirth. So long Götterdämmerungs.

Why would cloud be a SOLDIER it makes no sense unless this is his version of the story. I think this is copout though. Making cloud into a power fantasy hero and taking the best elements out of the story. I think they just want this to be a fun disney game for little pre teens. In crisis core this was Zack but I bet you this is a “new timeline” where cloud is the hero and zack is the crazy loser with head problems. Same thing game of thrones did because expectations

I see them incorporating crisis core stuff into the remake and why would you do that, FF7 does not need crisis core its the other way around. They pulled a dragon ball z power creep and had to up the anti and made everything convoluted for no reason and tried to connect every little miniscule thing like loveless and aeriths bow and flowers that is bad writing and using nostaligia as a crutch and doubling down on the brand aspect of the heroes we know and love. I just think they will do away with the whole thing and make Cloud into a hero not a person with multiple personality disorder that beats down Aerith then goes ballistic. It's as if the writers are jealous of FF7 and are trying so hard to measure up by including their own things because of ego and insecurity. Yes I know what the scene represents in the context of FF7 however I actually think they are going to say that Cloud did know Sephiroth and they were pals. They already play it as if they are these huge rivals like batman and joker. However Sephiroth never considered Cloud a rival he was just some clone, and he is disregarded several times like in costa del sol, it's who are you? Cloud also viewed Sephiroth as some kind of untouchable god. He treats him as if they are equal rivals now and have this long history of fighting one another which is just Meta commentary since we as an audience view them that way since all the ff7 media revolves around them.

The OG was similar in that style where Cloud and Sephiroth teamed up with each other and that they were pals in this "flashback", but we both know that these events are not accurate, It's just Cloud's messed up memory. I wouldn't take the interactions they have here at face value because we both know that this isn't an accurate flashback. The remake is still portraying Cloud as someone with a multiple personality disorder, and hopefully Rebirth and part 3 will dive deeper into that. As for Crisis Core, I partially agree with you on the Genesis and Loveless nonsense.
The game still isn't out for 3 months and we already have nothing but early access releases and demos for streamers spoiling it for us :( Before the first part was released I had to not look at social media about a week prior to the game (thanks to people who got the physical copy early) until I finished the game. I feel like I'm going to have to stop social media until I'm done with the game any day now.

If it’s exploration, then it’s great. I didn’t like 15’s combat at all. However, it has the best exploration for the modern ff titles. I liked finding dungeons or secrets in the world. 16 was better than 7 remake but not as good as 15’s because it felt empty.( I did prefer 16 overall though). However, if 7 rebirth takes what 15 did and improves upon it, then this will be the greatest ff game of all time imo. Actually, it already is for me but they would be actually be peak modern ff if they nail it.

Something else I like in FF15 is the dungeons. FF7 Remake doesn't have this. I think FF7 Remake more like kinetic story driven rather than open world. The battle mechanics, I like FF7 Remake (Easy) lol. Because I like how it auto attack and defend while me still have sense of control over choosing what strategy to use. Just don't like how we need to wait when want to use items. Well, I guess that's the game balance.
I hope they can make the image quality shaper for release. Resolution seems to be pretty low in performance mode. Adding FSR 2.2 for 4k upscaling would be nice.

I am talking about last boss of this video - terror of the deep. It dies too fast in my opinion and i am wondering if it is nerfed for the demo (i hope so). I am fine with materia keeper as it is a tutorial boss.
@@Yodaaa1991yeah I agree with the detail that bothered me, the terror of the deep only has 9000 life points I noticed that we had a lot of skills which are proposed to eliminate bosses or mobs which are killed in 3 shots sword, but when we launch the demo it is marked difficulty level 1 /3 at mt nibel and junon 2 / 3 so I too hope that the bosses and the mobs will be more resistant to be able to appreciate the synergy abilities when the game will be finish
I have to say this game compared to the original even with the updated graphics looks absolutely terrible. No immersion, the music constantly breaking into other melodies and not allowing you to get a sense of emotion, you just go to a random bench and gain all of you HP and MP back when realistically sepiroth could just say he senses danger and advises you to take some magic hp and MP potions instead, you know to make it logical? immersive????. The whole game is an illogical hack and slash, with so little logic and craft from the 'developers' that it affects the immersion. I will not be buying this and I feel cheated that I bought the first part. And finally , the story changes are the worst changes made to a game in video game history. I hate square-enix.

I like how there is room for more materia slots in equipment. Just finishing my Remake playthrough to prepare for this and could not be more hyped!
