0:36 so what I'm hearing is that full sized customs need to be a thing?
Not the first time this week I've had that conversation with someone actually. Can you fathom the price of a top-tier full custom chassis? The size of the brass weight? You could probably curl the board for reps in between lobbies.
Yooo wassup glarses
@@badseedtech check out hexkeyboard's hex6.c, it's a full sized gasket mount...looks AMAZING too. can rival this keyboard for sure.
@@mrED123 bruh
I mean 1800 layout customs are a thing, so why not? I think there have been a couple of attempts over the years.
Holy moly, I've been trying not to buy keyboards anymore but now my favorite RUclipsr BadSeed Tech did a review of an awesome keyboard.....
Great review as usual, I might buy this one.....
Didn’t know Sora watched bad seed tech. Cool.
SubZub I’m thinking about picking one up as well. Looks like a really nice board, and I’ve been wanting to upgrade my k70 rapidfire. My biggest concern is keeping that brushed aluminum clean and free of dust
Like ya cut g
U buy it?
Yoo jotaro watches badseed tech 😳
Interesting that this video comes out as I'm looking into building a custom keyboard
You will never find a flagship prebuilt keyboard that’s better than a custom
Customs are always better
Custom indeed better
@@Killsbugskindafast depends
Gateron optical
The OnlyFans joke had the gf chokin'.
i was kyaghing so hard too lmfao
Same🤣
@@imyourvillainpilotcave5167 you were what?
@@darkdraconis im sorry i didnt spell laugh right my highness i will make sure to never make this mistake again.
@@imyourvillainpilotcave5167 no, seriously. What were you even trying to type. My high ass thought about that for like 5min straight. Got no clue. English is not my mother language but I am c2 and still have no clue lmao :D
Man! I wish I could grow a beard like you. It's legendary & heroic! Man trusts you.
did not expect to see you here
I picked one of these up a couple of days ago with some store credit I had at Best Buy so I only ended up paying just $107 with the tax included. I really like the switches and how quick they feel. Didn't take me long to get used to it. My copy also does not have any of the case ping mentioned. Overall I am extremely satisfied, especially for the price I got it for.
I'm thinking of picking one up. Still like it?
This remains my favorite channel for relevant and informative gaming tech news without any fluff.
Why he's just a salesman
Imagine being at an EDM festival and just before the bass drops, Brian P.:
“You ready? Let’s go!”
that would actually be so dope
I have been waiting for this review for a couple of weeks and now, my satisfaction is beyond level, thanks for the great review !!!
Great in depth review, I really enjoyed the content and are amazed by how well you did it! Having the K70 Pro for many years and still being satisfied, I will now buy the K100 OPX with great confidence. Thank you for your amazing review.
we need more people like this man, he’s honest and 100% legit about his feelings about this keyboard,
1 view gang gang
And yeah I fully agree with you on that opening statement; really nice to see some more sophisticated internals on the brand-name keebs, but once you dive into Custom Keebs, good luck willingly getting out of the rabbit hole LMAO (I'm still waiting on my first ;w;)
Your studio looks amazing Brian!
Honestly I lubed up my huntsmen tkl linear switches and stabs with tribosys/dielectric and they sound and feel better than my friends custom.
Goes to show how preference plays such a strong role in this hobby!
Also afaik due the design the new razer switches are stuuuuupid smooth, only issue is the sound.
What switches did your friends custom have!
Anzel Arce NK creams
Vapor Opened up the case removed all the switches and lightly lubed where plastic rubs against plastic and where the bar meets the plastic. With this switch you cannot disassemble without damaging it so everything must be done from the outside. Before when I shook the keyboard left and right there was a shifting noise from the bars on each switch. Now that sound is no longer there and the keys wobble a lot less. Now the keyboard has a nice crisp thocc sound. In addition to all this I have insulated the case with thin foam.
@@Scribblescrabbly bro that is so much work but hey glad its worth it
I am happy with my Dygma Raise, yet I still watch your keyboard videos.
Got one of these a few days ago.
It's a BEAST of a board.
That Tyga joke had me crying bro, top work son!
What a great review! LOVE your Presenatioins brother, well done keep it up!
I love the sound
Just got one of these this week...well, actually, two of them. One of the Cherry MX and the other with the optical switches. Both have this dreadful metallic ping sound when typing. Lowering the feet so the keyboard lays flat helps somewhat (or, maybe it's just wishful thinking), but it's still pretty bad. :-(
That's why I returned mine. 2023 Corsair may release the new flagship replacement with better sound dampening and choice of switches.
That tyga one liner was magical 😂😂 best tech reviewer no contest

I can't even upgrade my GeForce 210 but i still watch your expensive Videos
For $230, you could’ve chose a better font Corsair.
Who the hell gives a crap about font.... for real... just made a custom keyboard and my friend says he doesn’t like the “Font”. I’m like gtfo whatcha mean font dude?
Dude I bought a Corsair for my first keyboard and the font is soooo ugly
and better stabilizers, case dampening and a detachable cable.
I came here to learn about the keyboard, but stayed for the beard. That is a cleannnnn beard my man! (Very informative video as well ;)
Great review bud, as I am an engineering student and gamer a full size works for me and this may be a great upgrade from my k70.
Good review as always. I have to agree with you that Corsair needs to make a smaller form factor keyboard like an updated version of the lux 65. I main the Corsair k70 Low Profile with speed silvers and it's a phenomenal board, but sometimes I wish it's a little smaller like my Drop Alt.
I love that corsair lubed every single stabilizer, i mean stem, mount everything...
One of the reasons I go with big brands is I love a full size keyboard. I need my 10 key. Granted I work at a bank, and becoming a financial coach. Its insanely useful. It’s just real hard to find a custom keyboard I like that’s full size.
The background song you use is awesome, I love it
I still consider the Wooting boards the best optical keyboards out there. They have more features and software that doesn't suck!
It still puzzles me that you do not have 1 Mil subs yet.
I know his content is so good
I have a custom and I think this is the prettiest keyboard I've ever seen, with the wrist rest attached. Kinda makes me want one just to have it even though I like 60 percent a lot more
I got one since I’m not a custom guy, love it it’s just hard to clean.
The beat in your intro music is just 🔥
Hey there, what is the difference between the OPTX over the MX Cherry keys?
I just got this board and let me tell you. It is the best feeling board that I have used yet. But that case ping is something that might make me return it. I will let yall know
Amazing video man always love your honesty with your reviews you inspired me to do youtube!
for 300k subs you should make a "you ready? LETS GO" compilation
Damn RUclips has kept you out of my recommended for a minute
YEAAH I HAVE THIS KEYBOARD
I am still looking for keycaps ISO-PT. For more than10 years now. Until they are available I'll have to stick to "big brands" that provide 100% ISO-PT keycaps.
It's kinda hard looking at anything keyboard related, whilst waiting for my KBDfans tofu65 and tealios V2s to get here.
Love the videos, part of the reason I chose to build my own this time around.
That’s the difference between prebuilts and customs: I can go to the store right now and pick one up. These small brands selling boutique shit can’t get their products to customers. It’s like the majority of the electric car market.
Real question is when are we getting the Apex keyboard review
Best intro description ever
I love how the presenter in the sound test hits the keys on the keyboard like it needs to go through the desk. LOL
The stabs are really impressive for corsair
im just here to hear your "you're ready? lets go!"
THAT BEARD! That must take some serious dedication 👍 Great review, because of this I'm going to buy one today. You've got a new subscriber here 👍🙂
Thanks bro! Welcome aboard.
@@badseedtech Got it the other day. I used to have the K55 and this thing is night and day!! The quality is top notch. So much that I think I'll never have to buy another keyboard again! This thing will last me until I'm 90!! Thanks again for the review :)
Only one keyboard is interesting for me. It is Wooting with gateron x lekker. Will wait for review
Is no one gonna say that he has the spacecables x ouch kicks mousepad
Best Beard on Earth I subscribed
Great vid - appreciate your concise delivery! Please test a DAS keyboard - DAS deserves mention as a competitive option.
Corsair killin' the game.
I just want to say that in my opinion 4000hz is very, excessive, 1000 hz already reports every 1 ms, and the jump from 1 ms to 0.25 ms is barely noticeable, and way less substantial than if you were going from a standard 125 hz polling rate (8 ms) to a 1000 hz (1 ms). This kind of feature really does not fit a keyboard and seems like a gimmick.
Can we take a second to apreachate the volume counter at the switch noise test
i dig corsair's look, to the cable routing this got but i can't go back to full size after being on a 60% TKL is also my thing
good stuff per usual BadSeed STAY UP!
im over here with the older corsair vengence k95 rgb.. i think this will be a nice upgrade but i wish the k100 had the 18 macro keys like older flagship
Hey man great content! Got my sub for sure in just one video! Stay up!
Godlike reviews as always.
Because they are optical switches, does that mean they aren't soldered in?
The ping noise is the worst. I’ve had two separate models from different Best Buy’s and they both ping. Otherwise great board.
Awesome video, loving the intro and outro music. That shit vibes so nicely.
Yo thanks!
Hello congratulations for the video! I am very interested in purchasing this k100 optical keyboard, but I wanted to ask you what you think about writing. I'll explain. I currently have a Corsair k95 platinum Cherry mx speed. It's great in game, but I make a lot of typos because the keys are just too sensitive. I wanted to know how the k100 seemed to you from this point of view because if the writing experiences are similar (k95 and k100) then I would switch to the new k70 RGB PRO with cherry mx RED (definitely better for writing too, as well as for playing). Thank you for the reply.
such well made review videos

- The accent

You ready? Let's go!
Thank you! You helped me make up my fickle mind!
I LOVE THE VIDEO BRIAN😎😎😎😎😱
Amazing keyboard, but the problem is that it lacks in switch choices. If this had cherryMX brown or blue's I would buy it in a heart beat.
I currently have a Corsair K70 and am looking for a new keyboard. The K70 was my first 'gaming' keyboard and I'm kinda confused on what to look for. The direction I do want to go in though is: good for typing (I'm very big into tpying), size doesn't really matter to me, budget 120$. If you could recommend me anything that would be great.
Have you considered reviewing the Everest Max keyboard by Mountain? I think it would be right up your alley of preferences. *fingers crossed
Big wall o text TLDR. DO NOT BUY a Razer tartarus pro
as long as they are not the same as the switches powering the razer tartarus pro, that thing is awful. i got one to help me still play games as my left hand is kind of fucked the wrist rest and dpad are great as i don't have to move my fingers to far away from the wasd keys, the problem is there is a chance each time you press a key that it will continue the input until you press the key again leading to strafing into the open, swapping back to a empty gun again, you get the picture. this has been going on for quite a while and razer still have not fixed the issue. it is 100% to do with synapse clashing with the switches, but the main problem is them not putting in internal memory on a £110+ product. you get thrown in loops in chat, people's topics get locked on the razer support forums so no one else can add to it. would be great if someone can help push them along a bit, as the multiple reddit posts about it seem to be do nothing. with them not being acknowledged by razer, worst purchase in a long time and i don't want anyone else to deal with this bullshit
Glad I'm not the only one that regrets not saving the $50 and getting the older model when it went on sale. Have had that issue as well as keys not registering and having the mash and wiggle the switch around to get it working again, this is quality I'd expect from a Mad Catz controller on clearance.
My first time watching a video of yours
You have an awesome beard btw
Hey BadSeed Tech, late comment, but I was wondering, I have the K70 M.2 now, but the K100 looks SOOOO nice, do you think the upgrade would be worth it? The stablizers kill me, and I LOVE the iCUE and it syncs up with everything I have. If you see this and respond to it, thank you so much.
Nice review! Thanks
I feel like rattly stabs shouldn't be a point of discussion anymore now that we know how cheap easy it is to lube them with dielectric grease and an inter dental brush. I lubed my logitech boards and they sound and feel perfect, and I can't tell the difference in stabs between these and my custom.
Also sad to see Wooting not being even mentioned.. But steelseries and Razer gets mentioned... Should really mention the brand that did not patent this for their own use and rather stay open about it, to then open up for more brands getting into it, to then grow this tech/market even bigger and better!
Now the question is this or the huntmen elite
Edit I got a k100 at best buy! 100% worth the price
Nice dude!
Nice Review Of Corsair keyboard k100.i like your mouse deskmat that you used in the video please Where you bought the mouse deskmat please? How much the mouse deskmat please?sorry..
That Tyga reference was outta pocket haha
that beard is so freaking clean
That may be but where do you get a custom keyboard in Denmark?!
It's still crazy to me that mainstream companies are not making Southpaw full size keyboards, it makes too much sense to have arrow keys and numpad on the left so you can have as much room as possible for your mouse(like using a 65%-75% keyboard).
Look up ''Southpaw extended 65% keyboard''
Is the Corsair K100 also coming in an AZERTY layout?
Hey! When are you planning on releasing a video on the Ducky Mecha SF?
Great video! I’ve been planning on buying one of these and you sold it for me even more!
I do have to say, Synapse is the worst control program ever.
great vid man gave a like corsair coming back hmm
Where do you get your mousepads with cool designs and not just the plain ones?
How do monitors with higher FPS affect keyboards with high polling rates? Also i found out that my GK61 may have a polling rate of 100hz. Do you have any thoughts on that? How good or bad is that? Thanks brian!
Nice Minecraft beard.
How would you compare the cherry switch vs the OPX version? Trying to choose! Mostly using for typing vs gaming
What is the difference between k100 opx vs k70 opx , is there a latency difference or ….?
Wooting was first, also still the best!! 😁🙌🙌
i accidentally bought the cherry mx speed version... rip me. guess ill have to sell and rebuy the opx version.
Hey is this keyboard Low Profile if you know?
@@timothycirylhuntingtoniii3898 No, its not. however the new "K100 Air" is very low profile.
Honestly I don’t think I’d ever buy a keyboard bigger then 60% for gaming
Biggest I’ll go is TKL.
I use 60% for coding, and it's all I need. I would only take full size if I was doing data entry or something
Get a Wooting one!!
question wouldn't the k65 mini be faster even though its not optical like the k100 because the polling rate of the k65 mini in 8000 instead of 4000?
Nice video!
Iis there any competitor for this what you would name as worthy oponent for this keyboard ? we have it 250euro kinda pricy but i find it very comfortable.
Compared to the k95 platinum the k100 is much less noisy even with the case bing.
The old enter key, especially in IDO board was horrible.
You ready, let’s go
sooooo when are we getting a model o wireless video?
This board actually sounds good...
