Reverse Engineering in 3DExperience

One of our customer asked us: "How can we reuse the data from a STL file?"
He sent us a model that contains waves that originally come from a CFD software.
We shown him that with the Automatic Surface feature (Digitized Shape to Surface application) you can easily transform a 3D Scan into a clean surface.
The Reverse Engineering role contains also all the features needed to work with cloud points and scan, such as healing, tesselation, smoothing, surface network and many more...

Hello Manveer, the software is called the "3DEXPERIENCE Platform". It is build by the French company Dassault Systèmes (www.3ds.com//). The Platform regroup different brand, such as CATIA (CAD), ENOVIA (PLM), SIMULIA (FEA) or DELMIA (CAM).
