Hi ! To import a scanned data or an stl file , simply go to the digitized shape editor workbench . You can go to this workbench from Start > Shape > Digitized shape editor . Hope this helps !
@@ajaymalviya4377 sorry for the late reply . I will tell you once I reach home . Currently I am not at home , therefore I do not have access to my computer yet .
When selecting "basic surface recognition" a cloud (aka an stl file) needs to be selected. Just click on the 3 dots icon of the box that pops up and find your stl file. That should solve the problem, if I'm not mistaken :)
Thank you for the suggestion ! However I'm still new with the screen recording software . I am currently using the OBS screen recorder and have set the output to 720p and 30fps but it didnt change the quality T-T . Do you have any recommendations or solutions for that ?
Hi nizua, Can u explain helical gear wheel part's reverse engineering process in CATIA? If it is editable (like creating sketch) means that's too helpful for me.
Hi Karthik! Thanj you for your support. Unfortunately, I do not have access to CATIA anymore because I have graduated from the engineering diploma. I am now venturing into games design!
it seems that you know what you are doing and that you understand it, it's just a pity that it's in such a low resolution and that the sound is so lousy
Very unfortunate indeed. My laptop didn't have the actual power to screen record and do catia at the same time sadly and for the sound, I recorded it using my phone and slap it on the recording, it's even worse without the background sound . At tht time I only wanted to share the knowledge I learnedd from my Engineering school... very sorry for it!! I'll try my best to increase the quality of my content in the future. Been taking a break from youtube to work part time while studying and saving up for upgrades :) Thanks for your supportt and please continue supportingg
Video is great but not good resolution. Also you went too fast between switching work bench and picking icon, you need to explain which slow down and explain which work bench and which icon you are picking for each operation.
background music is to loud.... also it´s a little bit noicy - it´s difficult to understand. Solution rate of the video is very bad, should be in a higher level. Video for itself is perfect....would like to have this in better quality and sound so that I´m able to learn from it.
A shame, that quite interesting tutorial is made unusable by sound levels (music is covering the voice, even the door sounds in background are louder...) and the resolution set to max 480... What an idiotic idea...
Excellent job with the design and explanation of features!
Congrats, very good job, thanks soo much to share your knowledge

It is a great video, but I recommend using a higher quality minimum 720p at 30 fps

first of all tune down music or get rid of it
Pls remove the music and your video resolution is low. Upload new one
