Due to various financial priorities I've been unable to previously upgrade my G9 to a G9II. However, it looks like good things come to those who wait and the GH7 will now be my next camera!
I got the camera, but i couldn't get the ARRI Alexa Log. Something about back order. Guess ill try getting it straight from Panasonic tonight I'll try that.
Backorder to unlock a feature? I wonder if it's like unlocking log on the GH4 - I had to wait for B&H to mail me a piece of paper with the unlock code...
Isn't it great that you're there to let the representative repeat their marketing materials without you questioning a . single . detail? I suppose that if you started asking questions, they would just shut you down... Maybe you could have asked: 1. Why didn't you make a 5k 60p open gate available instead of keeping us choosing between having no cropping ability in 4k but with slo-mo and 5k/5.7k cropping option, but without slo-mo? Even the GH5ii has 5k open gate 30p... 2. When are you going to finally drip feed us the dual native ISO like on the GH5S?
