This is so awesome. It's so cool to see people who grew up in the same time period I did, listening to the same music I did who started writing the same age I did using it the same way, to heal, and who are actually becoming successful in the music business. I dont rap I sing and I had dreams of being on stage but stage fright got the better of me. I may not be from the Res but I live outside the city in the "sticks" near 3 different reservations, went to school with natives, had a lot of friends from Gila River and Tohono O'Odham, have been to the res, they were the realest friends I had in high school. Only one of my native girlfriends listened to the same music I did and we sang sometimes in the bathroom at school. We had beautiful harmony and talked about starting a group but she ended up going into the Airforce after graduation while I got married and had kids. Anyways I love all your music. I think Yach Sioux Yah is my very favorite but it's a hard choice cuz I Can't Remember My Name, Lost Tribe, Long Hair Don't Care, Aliens vs Indians, and Clash if the Clans are all really good tracks too. What's really great about seeing you guys doing this is the fact that it's finally happening...The Indigenous have a voice, are being heard and doing it through music that has all the elements of modern music while still being traditional. It's a new sound that has some real shit to say. I hope it blows up even bigger, to where everyone has heard your music and it becomes something that pushes for change in America. I think this is something so important for the whole world but the majority of people don't even realize.
