You can tell this is Canada. The crowd wants to mosh but they don't want to destroy Georges house.
I love how Strombo asks if everyone is safe too. Canadians are incredible.
@@themessenger8334 Yes we are ^__^
Not very aggressive music for moshing.
Shoes at the door?
@@wrarmatei If you think moshing is about aggression you've been doing it wrong.
I could go months without listening to Alexisonfire but every time I go back, it's just as awesome as that first time I heard these guys 15+ years ago.
Literally. Everytime I go back it’s like the first time I discovered an amazing song
This is so true!
So true
Agreed. I needed them today...hadnt listened in a long time
I'm 32 now, and discovered them at 16. This genuinely makes me misty eyed when I see others feel the same. Damn I'm old.
Pulmonary Archery is a national treasure 🇨🇦
100%
Their whole debut album is a national treasure
A Canadian heritage moment if you will
Go to 27:00 and you’ll find the real gem

The video and audio quality of this show feels like a movie. BRAVO
Like a bad movie.

Strombo's House is now the original Much Music we all dearly miss.
100% this
Strombo never sold out, he's a man of his word and I fucking love him for it
As good as Much, without the shitty music. Anyone remember Kim and his City Limits show? That was can't miss back in high school.

Still the only band ever
So so much. They truly own that title. If anyone else tried it they'd get laughed down but AOF are simply perfect.

Dallas’ voice is uncrackable. It’s amazing and heartwarming to see how he’s grown as a vocalist. I’d honestly put him up there as one of the greatest male vocalist of my generation, maybe even of all time
He’s got such an awesome voice, and especially unique for this genre/scene
I'd back you up on that one
He is one of the best Canadian artists of all time. Book it, it’s true.
Totally agree
The problem is it went to his head and look what happened
Recap:
-Steele is still crazy (21:40)
-Dallas still sings like he means it (25:15)
-Wade is still a reliable gravelcrusher
-Jordan sounds more solid than ever
-George is still fkg wild, unpredictable. 10/10, wouldn't invite to play at my house, ever (24:38)
-Strombo still has the best living room in the G.T.A .

Sounds AMAZING
I was going to say!
If more records sounded like this, I think I'd be very happy. It still sounds live and raw but clear enough where nothing is lost.
Seriously. Its unreal how nice this is.
need to say, mad props to the mix, puts this video over the top in greatness.
This is definitely one of the best mixed live shows I've ever heard.
Perfect mix of the room and close mic's is the trick to a good recorded sounded, plus, Alexis are playing tight AF these days!

Holy shit didn't know Electronic Gems is into post-hardcore. Love your channel

So fucking haunting, come back to it often..
Sick right ?
How is nobody talking about how they weaved When Doves Cry right in the middle of Happiness By The Kilowatt so smoothly? That is some incredibly artistic and creative stuff. This band is truly something special.
I am truly amazed by the audio quality of these recordings. This is legitimately better than several professional concert DVDs from a decade ago.
its called a "backing track"
@@juanvaldez5422 No backing track. Everything you hear is from their amps, drums and throats.
Its mos def back tracking I ve seen them live they dont sound like that.
@@justingillis749 Yeah, it obviously is. Some people just dont have very discerning ears.
@@toddmacdonald2056 These comments by Justin and Juan are actually the best compliments you could receive. i;ve been a fan of alexisonfire since i was.....maybe 20 or 21? back in 2000 and 2001? i remember their album was passed around and around and around on every emo and metal forum known to man. i remember everyone kept calling it "two girls in mid knife fight." i cant begin to tell you how hardcore of a fan i've been since then...
i'm nealry 40 now... and i dont know what it was, but hearing the calm whispers of Pulmonary Archery...... i started to tear up..... i almost started sobbing. i guess this is what you call a midlife crisis...
hang onto your youth, but just know that its all fleeting.... be daring, be different. remember every minute of it, and never have any regrets. thank you AOF for giving me that strength to be what i wanted to be, regardless of what happened.... i dont have a single regret.
well said, man!
Tears for PA here too man. Their first album changed my life when i was just a wee lad.
Dude, poetic. I teared up just reading this. The self titled came out a year after I graduated and had no idea what I wanted to do in life. Every time I hear Pulmonary Archery it brings be back to some of the worst, and best times I had while trying to figure shit out in my early 20's. These albums are what shaped me. I'm so glad they are back.
Amen. I am 39, right there with you brother. We are aging like fine wine \m/
Going on 38... time moves on man. Just remember to "Dance Like Theres No One Watching You".
20:50 can we talk about how Steele is the most calm, unassuming person in the world right up until music starts playing, and then instantly transforms into a spastic puppet? What a hero.
that reverb in Pulmonary Archery tho
What a ride
I scream when that pulmonary archery intro starts - must've been something else to actually be there
Seeing them in Ottawa in a month. Haven't seen them since Christmas Eve 2011. Cannot fucking wait.
Drummer is beyond amazing. Holy sweet mother of god.
That ride bell is delicious
George, pleeeeeease get AoF to release this as a live EP, the mix is so incredible.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. 17 years later and Pulmonary Archery STILL turns me into a giddy little school girl.

God damn Dallas’s vocals in Dogs Blood are spine-chillingly amazing!
They truly are. I can listen to that portion alone and hear the guitars in the background. Erie to the max, then Wade comes in like a double barrel shotgun.
Alexisonfire is bout to have the hottest reunion show in the restaurant of Zellers.

George, Dallas, and Wade all compliment each other so well. It's like their voices were meant to be in the same band. I wish they do a full tour of the U.S. one day. Definitely a bucket list band for me!
Definitely! PLEASE tour the U.S. That being said, I live in Michigan one hour away from Windsor, so if need be, I'll travel to Canada. I've never done it before just to see a band, but this band could make that happen.

This band has matured/aged/whatever magnificently!
You can see at 8:04 when, Pettit, raises his hands. The victory was all theirs. They knew they were back. This HOS show needs to be released for the quality alone. By that I mean on DVD, vinyl, whatever. I’d play it everyday.

Speaking of senses fail, just got to see them for the first time few weeks back in OKC, they played the whole ep album and bunch if stuff from "let it enfold you" was epic, reminded me of early 2000's high school
