Beautiful! This isn't just a few scraps of sheet music but a full composition, historically significant as there were no surviving scores of the chamber music Mozart composed in his early teens (until now!). To see the look on the musicologists' faces when they realized what they've found.
Yeah, the mikes aren't ideally placed but the performance is excellent. This is actually not just a curiosity but a really good piece of music, if not a mature masterpiece, from a teenage genius. We are blessed to have found it. I would certainly be happy to hear it again in concerts.
I may seem crazy, but I stood up and applauded from home. Thank you very much for the performance, and thank you Mozart for increasing my taste for classical music even more. Beautiful composition.

Ich denke nicht, dass das ein Versehen der Tontechnik war. Ein Stück, das für zwei Violinen und einen Bass geschrieben wurde, hat allein durch die Zusammensetzung (2:1) einen dominanten Basso. Das Cembalo gehört (soweit ich das herauszufinden konnte) nicht zur ursprünglichen Besetzung. Viele Grüße

Mozart, 1756 in Salzburg geboren, war weder bei seiner Geburt noch bei seinem Tod 1791 österreichischer Staatsangehöriger. Das Erzbistum/Erzstift Salzburg war im deutschen Reich bis 1802 ein souveränes geistliches Fürstentum, dessen Gebiet erst 1816 (!) zu Österreich kam.
I imagine Ludwig von Köchel turning in his grave and cursing, "How could I miss that one! Now the whole numbering system is out of whack!" P.S. I know Alfred Einstein already had issues with the strictly sequential numbering used by Köchel.

Since it's an early work from Mozart, the tradition he heritages was the one of playing the bass part with the Cembalo also, so in my opinion it's more correct to play with it than without. Plus it makes the work less empty, other versions with only the strings make the piece a little bit "boring" in that sense
