Go to a Pick n' Pull and pull a set of Rear LCA's from a EG (92-95) civic and they should bolt right up to the EF. Then you can run those coils, np. rear sway if you have one might not bolt up properly but you will get the suspesion on.
the std ef civic has 23 spline count on the hub, and dx/si have 26. Also, loosen the bolt on the upper control arm and it will swing out of the way to make it easier to put the axle in.

My father has this car since 1994-1995 and we still using it on a daily basis. We face some problems here and there. My father don't want it anymore because is so old but I love this car. If I had the money I will use them to fix it and not to buy a new one. I'm a huge Honda fan. Also I love your videos. Good job!!! Love from Greece ❤❤❤
That axle is the 5 speed axle and just a heads up when you do your swap you need to change the hubs the standard ef has smaller holes on the hub just a heads up dj
Lca's from a Da9 will work for the new yonaka struts.. The std model has smaller wheel hub/ steering knuckles unlike the dx/si ect.. the parts store sold you the ones for a dx/ex/si. Unfortunately when you do the z6 swap you will have to change the steering knuckles out from either a 90-91 civic dx/ex/si or from a 90-93 integra. The input shafts on the axles you have now will be to skinny to use in an si transmission that you are planning on using.
You guys got the wrong could they still are for ef but depending on trim levels one had the fork style one has the (stock) style you guys have no need to get lca for them but you can just get them anyways to not deal with returning coils and ordering the right ones
Ok guys need a review of my stock ls430 dad version with a set of tires that need to be roasted till they blow then we need to jam on my assetto Corsa rig! Hit me up I need tires now
You don't have to run after market lcas, on efs the 88s came with that style of lca for some reason 89-91 come with the fork style lcas. You can go get stock lcas from a 89-91 and they will work fine

The only good part that car came with you are taking off. In the late 90’s Honda chose to use 1988 Civic rear LCA on Integra Type-R. Lol. From ‘89-00 (non-Type-R) Civic & Integra had weak rear LCA to match fork rear shocks. Pretty sure only 88 Civic and Integra Type-R came with stronger LCA. maybe I’m wrong. I’ve left the Honda scene in 2001 when I moved to Japan. Nice car though. I had ‘90 DX in ‘96 and turbo’ed 97 EX in 97 and built 95 Si Hatch with 99 JDM B18c5 ITR swap, JDM oversized CTR pistons, 80hp NOS & 5 lug conversion in 99. EG was faster than my Skyline GTS-t and almost as fast as my first GTR

My third year on yonaka coils and I honestly not terrible for the cost. They are treating me well and still going strong. Not a bad budget coil tbh.
Same here! Got them for my ej6 coupe & they ride great for the money.

You can use any control arm from any 89-95 civic/crx/del sol or 90-01 Integra and You need the axle specific for the standard model you have.
That axle is the 5 speed axle and just a heads up when you do your swap you need to change the hubs the standard ef has smaller holes on the hub just a heads up dj
This year you should get a shop be sick
joey William Not everyone is made of money. So let's hope the channel blows up more so they can get that dank RUclips revenue.
basically this is all a part of modifying and repairing a new car. Little blips in the build that make you love the end product x10 :P
All you need is a 89+ civic rear lca. Only the 88 is the eyelet style. 89-00 Is fork. But I think the Ek ones are a little longer if you want camber
Got an essay due at midnight and im here instead. Worth every minute
i ran into the same axel problem when i replaced mine. the splines were way to big. i had to buy used ones from a parted out EF
