- Noel Edmonds looks at the weekly pop chart from 11th April 1974 and introduces Limmie & The Family Cookin', Mud, Slade, Mungo Jerry, Diana Ross & Marvin Gaye, The Wombles, Bill Haley & The Comets, ABBA, Terry Jacks, The Glitter Band and a Pans People dance sequence.
Pans people the best thing since sliced bread. I am 70 now and I still get that tickly feeling watching them.
I am 61 so very young when Psns People were on Top of the Pops. But I do remember them. She Mehenrick from Legs and Co was the best but in Pans People Babs was my favourite.

Always loved this song by the Chi lites and to see the beautiful Pans People dancing to it makes it even better. This must be one of the last dances my favourite Louise did as she left in 1974 I think. Sadly died in 2012.

Chi lites one of the best bands of the 70s seen them live. Their sounds just like their records brilliant and yes so are Pans people they helped project songs with their brilliant dance routines and mention rip Flick Colby who formed dance routines ❤

I fell in love with a girl in my class when I was 11. I loved her until I was 16. Then I left school and saw her once when I was 18 and we had one dance. I've not seen her since, I'm 58 and still love her 😞
I've only just seen this - how sweet! I'm 60 now and still regret breaking up with my boyfriend when we were 17. I still miss him. I caught up with him recently on social media and kept imagining wonderful reunions! Oh well.

Why? No seriously. How can you love someone you’ve not met for a lifetime, you have no idea of their lives and who is likely not giving you a second thought. You need to start focusing on the present - not infatuate over a single incident 40 years ago. It’s not healthy.

The outfits in this routine `Homely Girl` were also used in a routine on the 2 Ronnie's show when Pans dance to a tune called `Hip Hug Her`. The RUclips guy simply took that routine and dubbed `The Hustle` music over it. Don't believe me ? Although this is an incredibly corny song, whoever put this together, the costumes, camera shots, editing and dancing, they hit this out of the park. There's not a lot of things that i watch and say "Wow". But this really touched me.
