As informative and extremeley detailed this was. The music and the faces of everyone portrayed truly made me feel despair and sadness for them. :(

I have been the recipient of a Get. This was not my process. My husband never had to meet with the Rabbi. Everything was done on his end remotely. I had to go in person to receive the Get. It had to be 3 male Rabbis present, despite the egalitarian shul I am a part of, in order to be laid.
In your video, the man should stand by vows he made to give a divorce. Being released from vows seems to be the opposite of what should be required. Not holding men to their vows is what leads to many divorces in the 1st place.
Worse is when men hold women hostage by refusing to give a Get. The whole process needs to be updated and equalized.

By my Get ceremony there were not so many declarations beforehand.

Interesting. We had one done overseas. The husband sent it from Israel to chutz laretz so it was thru a shaliach

Yes, when it’s sent with a shaliach it’s a bit different

Gee, I wonder who came up with the stereotype that Judaism is a religion of legalistic obsessions?
