Paul is a false prophet. He contradicts the Torah and Jesus. He gives his own opinions. He never quotes Jesus and any of his letters. I challenge you to find one verse in his writings where he quotes Jesus.
So did not Moses add to the law when he gave the provision of divorce? Because Yeshua said in the beginning it was not so, or that divorce wasn’t the law in the beginning. So Moses was allowed to add to Gods law

Was it ok for them and a few others to have more than one wife? And if so, then why? And if it were ok for them; when in the scripture did it change that it became no longer ok?
I can answer it. Polygny was never done away with, and was regulated according to the Law. Kings were not to “multiply” wives, gold, silver, horses. We know that Kings will have more than one piece of gold, silver, and more than one horse in their kingdom. The idea was that if you become excessive and focused on things of this world, your heart would turn from God. David did not multiply wives, Solomon did and it was his downfall. We should not confuse the act of adultery David committed with Bathsheba with polygyny being wrong, in fact David had multiple wives prior to Bathsheba and was never called out for it, neither were any of them deemed illegitimate wives. The New Testament only states that bishops and overseers are to be of one wife. Likely because it would not be prudent to have multiple wives, and the children that come along with that, and lead a church. One would suffer.

It’s a little extreme to call Paul a false prophet his books are hard to understand but when read in context it aligns with Torah
