No, if you actually saw the whole conversation with the guy I was originally talking to, you can clearly see that he called Murray a "Season Veteran".
Then my reply was that you couldn't call Murray a seasoned Vet because he had only reached 3 major finals and not won any of them. My interpretation of a seasoned vet is someone who has reached more than 3 finals and has won multiple grand slams.

I still have my recording of the Olypic final, and I've watched it several times trying to see what was different with Federer. I saw nothing unusual, except maybe that the crowd was a bit more boisterous and pro Andy. Federer was doing all the usual Federer attacking stuff - it just didn't work this time, and maybe wouldn't have worked at Wimbledon either if Andy had just kept his nerve after winning the first set.

17 grand slams, 6 World Tour Finals. Am sure Murray will enjoy his best of 3 set tournament till the final playing a 31 year old Federer who had just played the longest 3 set match in history, with the hostile crowd on his side. Well done Murray.

I received an ad on backswing saying compact backswings are more powerful than a big one. Their sample video showed a woman doing a windmill-esque backswing and the other woman doing a proper swing. They claimed their academy suggested move lowered errors by 50%... No shit, one isn't even a tennis swing, their "compact" backswing technique was just bringing the racket directly behind you as the backswing, not winding up like a golf swing.
Sorry for the rant, just a crummy ad. But then again I would guess a tennis academy advertising on youtube probably isn't interesting in any players who would obviously spot the flaw.

My dad played on a national level and said he could aim this accurately with a serve, you have to to play at that high a level. You don't think one of the greatest players of all time could do it? I'm sure he could have done it, but for health and safety reasons I doubt it's real.
Honestly, warmed up I think Andy could have done it too, but his serve has never really been about accuracy, Roger's has.

against the best player that has ever played. no shame in that. every era is different. but I think with Federer, Djokovic, Nadal, this is the toughest time to win a grand slam ever. He can be proud of a great tournament. Federer was unstoppable at the end of the second set. I played lots of tournament tennis when I was younger and it's very demoralizing when you play your best game, and it still isn't good enough. Murray has the game, with Lendl now on board, he will get there.

ah,thats so classic,it's a thing that average human brain can't understand, every sportler has to face lots of challanges during the game,he must focus on things like(for tennis) serves, moving, returns etc. Here,he is focusing on just one thing and ofc he's gonne hit the target.Murray can also do this on traning, and every other average tennis player, but the way that federer is doing this in front of camaras and other people is just amazing.
