Finally GTA 6 can come out officially before another game. Now we just need half life 3 and we're happy. 😂
Finally, Years of No Updates have ended. I hope BioShock 4 will return to the Original Timeline Between BioShock and BioShock 2 and Take Place in the Modern World after Rapture's Downfall and likely Be About The Adam And Splicers starting a huge Outbreak when they reached the surface world. Still waiting for BioShock 4 to be Revealed at any Capacity.
Hopefully more will start to come out shortly. Fingers crossed.

I'm sick and tired of them taking them down if you want to download mods for BioShock please try to find all mods master games a public modding site where you can find published mods it is taken down daily itself so if you don't find it you might search it up again a day or two later😅 took me a week to find it again
I believe the reason why they’re just now hiring other developers for specific roles for the development of the game is because they wanted to wait until they had an actual story to tell for the game, before hiring people to develop it.

I can’t believe I just stumbled upon this channel yesterday. I wanted to randomly listen to some bioshock shit while falling asleep. I thought the series has been dead, no idea a movie and new game were in the works

I'm excited for a new location, new story, and able to hold as many weapons (if not more) when playing as Jack and Delta.
My guess is they're leaving development hell but still have a ways to go. It makes sense as a year ago development leadership was reportedly changed and I feel like it'd take about that long to sort out the new direction for the game, maybe 2026 release?

Honestly despite my love for the games, I'm not sure if another entry in the BioShock series is all that necessary. That combined with what seems like a somewhat directionless development of the game makes me skeptical that the project will turn out well.
I'm interested to see what Cloud Chamber can come up with but I can't help but the devs have been given a bit of an uphill battle with this project.
I'm happy it's moving forwards but at the same time I get uneasy when companies do a rapid hire to expand.
Far too many times companies expand beyond what they can reasonably maintain and that's when the shrinkage happens soon after. I know some studios do the fire and rehire song and dance but this is more of them finding their balance and it's going to be terrible for some people.

Ps ok agreed they should have started expanding staff in 19 but i guess better late then never. I do hope as jidas gets closer or releases they will give more news. Its getting to a point im excited for its release but also like it happens it happens. But thanks for the update

If you like bioshock i highly recommend the metro series its a great gameplay style likewise to bioshock, engaging combat, immersive world, great enviromental story telling. Definitely top tier
Whatever may be, I hope the original creators will make this game with utmost passion. Only that will make it worthwhile.

Feel like it might be fun if they made a bioshock game (in bioshock 1 & 2 timeline) shere you play through as a little sister or big sister, since i loved playing as subject delta in bioshock 2

This is really reminding me of the dev hell that Dead Island 2 went through and it turned out...alright. I have no doubt it will happen, but probably not until around 2026-27

I really hope for BioShock 4 they continue the story of BioShock 2 and expand on that as I see Bioshock 1 and BioShock infinite as in a separate universe from BioShock 2 simply because BioShock infinite's DLC burial at Sea kind of retconned it and there was kind of plot hole I was wondering what you thought about this
Hopefully we will get a trailer and an official release date announced soon but in 2019 the COVID-19 goble pandemic would have slowed down the development of all games, sony and Microsoft were developing the PS5 and Xbox series X and S so new PS4 and Xbox one games weren't being developed at the time so that mite of slowed down development a bit as well.
You might as well say that B4 is a ps6 title at this point.

I have big worries about Bioshock 4 ........... Ken Levine was the Head the Visionary
it would be incredible to see Bioshock and Borderlands drop
I feel like a good concept of bioshock 4 would have been to have the big sister as a protagonist after playing as a slpicer(jack) and a big daddy (subject delta)
I think it would prefer a remake of BioShock Infinite, (how it was meant to be with all its uncomfortable questions and wacky mechanics) But that's likely to never happen.
But a BioShock 4 is certainly appreciated.

At this point, I'm not sure the name of it. There's too many names flying around. And the movie should be on Netflix I believe.
As mentioned this surge in hiring according to the article does sound weird at this point in time, i genuinely don't know at what phase the game is at, did they go over multiple re works or are they just getting started? Waiting for Judas to come out sounds like a good strategy from a video game company pov. Either way whatever it is they are working on over there i hope its a true and faithful entry to the franchise, i would rather have no new bioshock than new bad bioshock. dude i never knew it would be produced in Canada. I’d get a job there if I could. Though with mass hirings I wouldn’t say its farfetched to say this adds 2yrs to the waiting time as most. So my prediction is 2027-2028

damn, infinite took a full decade? the game wasn't even open world, i mean it appeared to be, but it was mostly not, it was a great and confusing game, i remember being disappointed that it wasn't open world, but it was at least a fun game with a interesting story, confusing at times though and man do i remember that game giving me motion sickness all the freaking time.
I agree and disagree, let me explain.
I think it would've had the possibility of weakening the narrative they wanted to create for the players if you could just go straight from the welcome center (or whatever its called) to Finkton say using the skyhook.
Instead they should've made it like the last two games, where you have small hub areas to explore, "semi-open world", perhaps you could call it.
Can they just update the Bioshock remasters on PC pls?

This game os amazing but sky temple theme threw me off on three it was cool and interesting but the vibe and feel of a 40s underwater mega city is just top notch all these years later so cool. The 3rd was way out of the lore feeling of the originals. It better be u derwater or i wont play im not a huge fan since 1.2
Not to be a Debbie Downer but here is my prediction. Judas will be AMAZING. BioShock 4 will be a huge disappointment turd of a game. (If it even ever happens)
Honestly I’m starting to feel a little hopeful. I hope whoever is working on the game now are also fans like us of the games, and will wanna do right by it and be respectful by making what the fans want.

I'm in the minority, but to me if it's not from Ken Levine then it's not really BioShock. Judas is all I really need at the moment. I don't have high hopes for the new official BioShock.
