Smokey hot-sauce, on the best-southern R & B sounds ! Melinda just puts it right over the Top here !
Thank you, Joe. Melinda's performance is balm for the soul. 🙏❤🙏
She’s got my Respect! That horn section is unbelievable.
It can't get any better than that and thank you Joe for sharing it with all of us.
Oh, Wow--that was good!
Being a Shoals area resident I love to see the local guys get the respect they deserve. Thanks
Hi Joe, Greetings from Colorado. I have been watching a lot of your videos, great job, You Guys have opened up a new insight into the music that I have loved for 60 years. Many Thanks, you place looks great, hope to get there to see it.
Wow, Joe. You just can't stop with the musical awesomeness! Keep 'em coming my man.
Holy cow, Joe - you sure lnow how to keep hitting home runs !!!
Melinda and Mandy Barnett are the two of the greatest female talents out there. I still believe Melinda should've won that season of American Idol she was in, and I haven't watched it ever since. She was the better performer and better entertainer, which is exactly what it all should've been about.
You’re right ! she is spectacularly good!!
But on those talent shows, it isnt quite about the best winning but the one who can be cultivated. And money made from.
The runners-up usually are more talented & have careers underway and the show exposure lifts them to a bigger market. Winners have to fit the formatted post show career management program. That can be constraining
Would enjoy seeing more from the Vault.
Thanks for sharing ,,,,
Great! TY Joe.
Awesome as always !👍👍😊
That was a great performance by the band & Melinda! Thanks for posting this Joe! Hope that things are good on your end! 👍👍
That was an excellent clip, Joe! Everyone sounded fantastic. I am a dyed-in-the-wool fan of MSRS and read and watch everything I can get my hands on about their storied history. At first glance, I see Jimmy Johnson and David Hood. Was that Barry Beckett on organ with a medallion around his neck? And no Roger Hawkins, it appears. Which of the many Swampers were inducted that night, and how many were in attendance? Thanks again for digging into the vault for us 🤓.
Clay… Barry was there but wasn’t playing. He was very ill but was seated on stage with his medallion.best, Joe
Nice!
An Otis Redding song from the Stax label in Memphis
Is that Will McFarland on guitar? Melinda is such an awesomely powerful and soulful singer!
ya Joe
Looks like Will McFarlane playing those funky riffs
