Holy cow, Joe - you sure lnow how to keep hitting home runs !!!
Melinda and Mandy Barnett are the two of the greatest female talents out there. I still believe Melinda should've won that season of American Idol she was in, and I haven't watched it ever since. She was the better performer and better entertainer, which is exactly what it all should've been about.

You’re right ! she is spectacularly good!!
But on those talent shows, it isnt quite about the best winning but the one who can be cultivated. And money made from.
The runners-up usually are more talented & have careers underway and the show exposure lifts them to a bigger market. Winners have to fit the formatted post show career management program. That can be constraining

That was an excellent clip, Joe! Everyone sounded fantastic. I am a dyed-in-the-wool fan of MSRS and read and watch everything I can get my hands on about their storied history. At first glance, I see Jimmy Johnson and David Hood. Was that Barry Beckett on organ with a medallion around his neck? And no Roger Hawkins, it appears. Which of the many Swampers were inducted that night, and how many were in attendance? Thanks again for digging into the vault for us 🤓.
