monmixer, my dad Joe would have really appreciated your extremely kind words.
He was happy to keep YT as is, but cool for us to continue in any way that uplifted the musician… so, it won’t be exactly like this, as it was unique to dad, but anything new we put out we hope will honor dad and the musician.
Thank for you so much for your continued support of the channel. Hope you can visit the museum sometime too.

I recall a story somewhere Will got the call and thought his brother was putting him on with a George Harrison imitation? I looked and here it is! That said, Joe you're skill at being courteous, informed, and overall a great interviewer person are only surpassed by the legion of amazing and talented musical people you and we love. About ten or more years ago the Fab Faux was playing here in San Francisco one Sunday night at Yoshi's in San Francisco in 2013 .
Unfortunately I was in the hospital .
I got out about midnight ,and went straight to the club .
I caught possibly three songs . The
When they were packing up - Will had to be back in New York for Letterman on Monday .
It was like 1:00 in the morning when Will, and I got into a half hour conversation.
I told him I was one of the original members of Beatlemania back in 1977 but was fired after a month so I never performed with the band at the Wintergarden in New York.
That was just getting my Beatles cred ...
I was in pain, and Will was the nicest guy you could ever meet .
We talked about all things great, and small .
    He was so humble .
    I regret I didn't catch the entire show .
    I couldn't begin to scratch the surface ,so I won't .
Will deserves these accolades, and success .
Ps. I asked him about the Letterman gig.
He said it was the best gig you could ever imagine .
Joe Chambers is the go to man in music , he knows it all ...

This reminded me of the time at Dollywood. It was a daytime show with John Anderson and the auditorium only had about 10 of us watching. He didn't act any different as if it were full. I liked playing in front of bigger crowds and I remember being scared to death when it was only a few. For a big name guy..Will seems so cool. Just wondering Joe. Have you thought about interviewing Carol Kay? She's getting up there in age. 👍🏻😎

I met Carol years ago. I wanted to include her in the museum as well as asking her to be inducted with the Wrecking Crew in 2007 when they were nominated and inducted but she didn’t seen interested. She certainly deserves to be recognized and I wish it could’ve worked out. Thanks again for watching..Joe

Hi Joe, I ran into Will at a show at The Bitter End last Friday night. He was playing with the Davide Pannozzo Trio.. along with Shawn Phelps... Oh man. I have followed Will as long as I can remember. Thank you for this great interview, as always, you do an amazing job of keeping the folks comfortable and relaxed. Will and I only got to chat for a few minutes after the show, but he is always the nicest guy in the room. And as he says, it's all about the music... Great job here Joe. Thank you.
