I grew up watching Chet. My father loved the guy. Chet hugely influenced my playing. I always saw him as a superhero. Thanks Joe!

Love it. Paul is gone now too. I feel blessed to live in a time when all this talent and great taste of guitar playing was done.

Mother Maybelle was adamant she would not sign to play the Opry if Chester could not be included.
Studio musicians were afraid Chet would take work from them.
    They were correct.
Loved how Chet was smiling, having fun on Poor Boy Blues video with Mark Knopfler.

I would live to see Steve and Vince Gill get in the studio to record a dozen to two or six songs...mostly instrumentals with a few vocals similar to what Chet and Mark Knofler did years ago.
And I think if Steve got together with Richard Smith and Knofler got together guitar magic would happen.
C'mon you guys....I ain't got that many years left!! 😂

I used to listen to the Louvin Bros and try to tell if I was hearing Atkins or Yandell. Nice medly...and isn't Wariner playing his own outro?
BTW, anyone who hasn't been to the Musician's Hall of Fame: go soon, get there early and plan to stay all day. Incredible collection (my favorite: the piano Gamble and Huff used on Me and Mrs Jones); everything is beautifully diplayed, and you'll run into nice folks there, too.
    Thank you Joe Chambers!
