Is it wrong, that in my mind, I’d be willing to pay more for a watch, than a car? 😂 I’ll never be able to buy one of these, but it is a very handsome piece.
An icon for connaisseurs. One disappointment though is that the caliber is too small for the watch. The solid case back does give you more precious metal true to history etc BUT it also hides the inappropriate size of caliber 215PS for this case.
I love an elegant three-hander! Hmmm, I’m thinking a navy blue strap and a powder blue dial with blued steel dial hardware and printing might look good on this one.
That's not a hunter caseback. Its snap-on and the tab is to make it easier for a watchmaker to remove the caseback. You can tell because there are no hinges on the back.
@michaelostassr.2771 Not better, only easer. Less labor is required in manufacturing, no regulation is required. Trade off now very delicate and replacement only. It's a real con job.
One of my all time favorite Patek's ever made.

Depending of your travels you may use a car very seldom but you will wear a watch every single day : so no, it's not wrong at all 😁
@@mtp1979 lol. Thanks.
By the way, I like your thumbnail.
I own a Zenith El Primero, myself.
One of my favorite watches in my collection
@@BaddogSports thanks. It's a great one indeed. I just bought it because tha color matches the one of my car seats 🤣🤣🤣
@@mtp1979 🤣🤣
One of my favorite pateks and a personal grail of mine. So elegant!
I can not comprehend why they discontinued the 5196 series
Because they’re smart and respect their collectors. And they believe in themselves enough to know that they will be able to come up with a new hit.

Better than any current Calatrava

Beautiful piece. Class, style and elegance .
That watch is a winner!
why it looks 40mm
That's a quite expensive Baltic !
🤪
I love it but would need a date function
Thank goodness we see a watch without dauphine hands for once...
isn't that a hunter case back? why didn't you lift it?

If I ever purchased this watch, it could be my last. Or maybe….
Put some moisturizer in your hands 🙌 Drink more water 💦 and eat some real food. 👍 Good luck 🍀 (check liver and kidneys)
Very attractive however not a fan of silicon and rather have the Genève seal. What happened to tradition I thought PP was all about tradition.
The best watchmaker decided to use a better technology.

Now that is a fine watch!
