This is such a Lorelei way of planning a wedding. All gut feelings and chance sightings and signs. Every time I rewatch how excited she was to have everything planned and ready to go, I get so, so sad. If only Luke had gone about the April revelation differently. April would have been getting fitted for a flower girl dress in no time.
I feel so cheated out of this wedding. It sounded amazing
This whole postponing then canceling the wedding made no sense whatsoever. I get it Luke finding out he has a daughter out of the blue can be shocking and I also get he wants to get close to his daughter but I never understood why does the wedding have to be an issue and why did he do everything in his power to keep Loralai out of it. It made no sense whatsoever and his excuses were so lame. Did you hear Loralai speech the wedding preparation were all set. Luke didn’t have to stress about that he could have taken this golden opportunity to get close to April introduce Loralai to April and Ana invite them to the wedding and this could of been a huge wedding celebration that Luke married the love of his life and found out he’s a dad. It could have been a win win win for everyone. Why was does anyone have to suffer seriously Luke screwed this up so bad for everyone is ridiculous. He needs to work on multitasking with his life problems
The writers screwed him up. April was a mistake to have on the show. It made no sense. The writers just wanted more drama.
@@ameliawilder28 that’s another thing that bothers me Luke and Loralai had plenty of drama in their relationship why give them more. Is like the writers just didn’t want this relationship to happen even though us fans have been rooting for them from the very beginning
Yeah and the fact that even in the reboot they still hadn’t gotten married in all that time crazy
Never understood why have Loralai even dream of having twins with Luke and then then never had kids together
@@lindagarcia5908 yeah exactly thank you, you would think in the reboot they would at least be married by now maybe have kids. But no they were the same as always just so incredibly boring with their relationship. And what bother me the most is that Luke was still childish and possessive towards April. He did not want Loralai have any say whatsoever still pushing her aside. Her opinions her feelings didn’t matter. I stand what I say the writers just didn’t care about their relationship❤️
So sad that Luke postponed the wedding. It was so sad 😢 poor Lorelai

I see everyone in comments saying the same thing. The same what I think too. It made no sense for Luke to act the way he did and it all seemed like forced drama to create the storyline nobody liked
and they wondered why we disliked April. not only the character was a bit annoying but she was the destruction of all of this...ugh

Lorelai and Luke have/had communication issues since forever, that wasn't April's fault, even in the Revival they lie to each other
@@Dani-so5mg pffft the revival is shit, so we can leave it out. no matter how screwed their comunication was i'm sure they would have talked marriage and kids in 10 years.
and yes, they had issues but April literally was a plot point to not have them together, so yeah. most people disliked april cause we waited 5 seasons for nothing.

Their relationship was bad. And the Revival did happen and it's canon.

What a waste. The woman who avoided marriage for over 20 years literally proposes and Luke blows it for no reason. He couldn't handle her drama and she couldn't handle his introversion.
And then Luke stupidly postponed everything for April when it doesn’t even affect the wedding whatsoever 😑
ugh everything just falling into place and he didn't really have anything to stress over in wedding prep...
Remember before April, Luke telling Lor, about being honest and telling each other things, and the writers just screwing up their relationship and not letting them get married, and not letting them be married before a year in the life, like come on now. 😢
Everyone is talking about Luke postponing the wedding. Still, no one is discussing how unexcited Luke is in matching Lorelai's energy about signs and wedding planning in this scene as though this is her thing alone. Neither Christopher nor Luke knows the first thing about keeping this woman happy. Lorelai and Luke messed up this wedding and Rory messed up her relationship with Logan and still managed to remain his mistress.
And lorelai messed up mr Medina. Egoista
Honestly, that bodice looks so frumpy on her. And am I crazy, or is the dress a size too small? There's a difference between 'strapless dresses have to be tight to a certain degree just so they won't fall down' and THAT. She is by no means a fat woman, but she looks so squished and squeezed in that. It's just a deeply, deeply unflattering dress on her. She's a lovely woman, and it's a lovely dress, but the two just don't go together. I'm glad she didn't really get married in it.
I disagree, it doesn't look frumpy or too tight. It makes her look very feminine.
