@kcs I agree. I thought Fall was good but the rest of them…meh…people criticized the writers of season 7 but I actually liked how they wrapped things up…it gave much more hope for Rory and the other characters…I think Amy should have watched those episodes…and why on earth did they split up Paris and Doyle they were perfect for each other? And why would Tristan be at Chilton? Why would they recast him? That made no sense to me at all.
Congrats. Want a medal for watching Bridesmaids as well? Making a point about being a straight man watching who isn’t ashamed makes it seem as if you think there is something odd, unusual, embarrassing, or shameful for a straight man to watch the show. Or if they aren’t your thoughts, then no one cares that some random people have negative judgment towards straight men watching this show. Just watch the show. It’s not exclusive to a group of people. Making these comments isn’t helpful:. There is nothing unique about a straight man watching Gilmore Girls compared to a straight woman. There is nothing to be ashamed about or let others to shame for. If you don’t bring randomly bring these things up, people wouldn’t even get the thought that there is anything wrong or off about straight men watching the show in the first place.
I love Lorelai/Emily history: "...and I was in a really good mood and mom got so annoyed she made me go to my room!" "Grandma?" "She was sitting at the table giving all the peas voices." That dynamic is just so hilarious.
hahaha my favorite parts.. "PIPPI"..."we got us a pippi virgin" "where are all the poptarts?" "ive been experimenting" "you ate all the poptarts?" "if it makes you feel any better I DONT KNOW IF I LIKE THEM" "i dont think its working" "ahh its my fault. im not focusing" "yes, that must be why"
You captured some of my favorite moments here! 1. tugboat tootin' along! LOL! and 2. Yes, that must be why we can't move a half a city block closer to us. hehe! Thanks for sharing these awesome moments!
Wow, seriously!? The fast way of speaking and the dialogs are what makes it the best show ever. Witty cannot be slowed! It's how it works in the Gilmore world!
You know what's weird about rewatching this show on reruns is that I notice how many of my own "lines" that I like to use sometimes to be funny were actually stolen from Lorelai and completely forgot where they came from. Still love this show, love the dialogue, love all the man candy (Logan, I know you were a douche but DAMMIT I cannot resist that grin!).
I love this show so much! I've forgotten how brilliant and hilarious it was! All the characters were just so perfect, and this is forever going to be near the top of my list of excellent shows! It's just so clever and entertaining and I've missed it so much!
I honestly don't know why I love this show so much, it is probably my favorite in the world lol, I finished watching it for the first time last year and when I heard about the new season I used it as an excuse to re watch the entire show #noshame lol. I will most likely never get sick of it! 😂😂😂
"Wow that was some poptart, what flavor was that?" "It's like super chicken. I bet it can fly, have you tried chucking it out the window?" Love drunk Lane!
Gilmore Girls is the best show of all time!! Excellent actors, excellent script, its funny, its romantic and just plain awesome. I love the duhhhh duh duh duhhh duhhhhhhhh duh when something strange/weird is happening haha
Just discovered this show, 21 years late. Best written, best acted show I've seen. So, how is it that the _only_ Emmy it was ever nominated for was for Make-up?
I was surprised too to learn that Luke hadn't seen Pippi. I've read Lindgren's books so many times and seen films on them - makes one think others have too :) Pippi song in Estonian sounds a lot like in English :)
I watched the Pippi scene with my mum and we laughed until we cry , because we watch Pippi and the other movies of Astrid Lindgren everytime they are on TV and everytime we're singing the songs . ^^
i am a 23 year old male who started watching gilmore girls cause i thought lauren graham and alexis bledel are pretty sexy. the show surprised me about how great the script and humor was so i started watching it
Favorite bit in the Pilot episode was when Sookie suggested hitting up her parents for the Chilton tuition, and Lorelai responds: "There are several chapters in a Stephen King novel that I would reenact before taking that course of action."
"It's Pippi Longstocking, he ho ho ha he ha hooo!" "I'll be comin' round the diner singing soooonnngggssss." "Have you been diagnosed? o.O" "Oh, I can hit the sticks on those brums." "Great.... great..... but what about the drums?"
That's my favorite scene from "We Got Us a Pippi Virgin".:):):):):) Actually, I love that scene PERIOD.:P:P:) Oh, and the Louie Armstrong impression! I love that one!:):P ...And that scene where Lorelai's talking about whether or not she likes things because she's being manipulated by her parents, she mentioned a break-up. I remember the episode, but I can't remember what break-up that was; was it from Luke or Christopher?
L-little itty-bitty michelle M- stop that L-ur my outlet, little michelle with the happy hair. M- bye L- u no wanna eat, look at him walking..big boy walkie. LOL...THAT MY FAV *baby voice*
Everytime I rewatch Gilmore Girls, I understand more and more of the references.
V fxqscv qqfvvx😭😆😆😘😘😄😳;-):-[❤
After the shock of the last four words, I'm coming back for some old-school Gilmore Girls.
DarkandWild2 same 😭😭
Shock but mostly complete disappointment in the rest of the 4 episodes ha
There was so much hype about those final four words and it was a letdown
I know. I need more i need to know who the dad is.
Yes, I too am a straight man who has seen almost every episode of the Gilmore Girls. By myself. I am not ashamed.
Congrats. Want a medal for watching Bridesmaids as well? Welcome! 😅
There were days when I truly disliked the job I had when this was on. I'd come home from work miserable, then watch this and it was a great escape.
"I don't think it's working"
"It's my fault, I'm not concentrating"
"Yes, that must be why we can't move a half a city block"
Love that so much!
I love Lorelai/Emily history:
"...and I was in a really good mood and mom got so annoyed she made me go to my room!"
"Grandma?"
"She was sitting at the table giving all the peas voices."
That dynamic is just so hilarious.
The writing is genius! Gilmore Girls is and will always be a classic and timeless show :D

Luke's face when he says 'how's ted?' cracks me up every time!
Pippi Longstocking! :D Hahaha, that's amazing, didn't see that coming!
Childhood memories
Just discovered this show, 21 years late.
Best written, best acted show I've seen.
So, how is it that the _only_ Emmy it was ever nominated for was for Make-up?

"wow! That's some poptart what flavor was that?" lol
People won't understand this show if they're not used to of fast pacing dialogue
Someone needs to post a video of every time the girls watched a movie together.
I think those are my favorite scenes of the entire series, lol.
this is why i love this show!
Favorite bit in the Pilot episode was when Sookie suggested hitting up her parents for the Chilton tuition, and Lorelai responds:
"There are several chapters in a Stephen King novel that I would reenact before taking that course of action."
Omg this is hilarious! This is how me and my cousin act when we're in a crazy mood! Hahaha

I so miss Gilmore girls I watch it every day on E4 but there all old ones they should make more. ;-)
I'm still in shock that this show never got an Emmy nomination, especially Lauren Graham.
According to IMDb it got ONE nomination... for MAKE-UP!
