But when there's no communication on the prices, and they show me things I feel I can't afford, would be upsetting to me.
First of all you’re not seeing the whole episode and they always say they usually don’t do that, but I’m sure they showed it to her and told her the price. What else are they supposed to do when the bride wants a very specific type of dress and the only dress that has everything she wants is $15,000. Some people are very demanding, but in the same token it’s a program and they are trying to make it more interesting for the viewer. I’ve looked up some of the brides after the program and some of them aren’t even wearing the dresses they say yes to on the show.
They will always tell the bride they are about to put her in a dress that if over her budget and they let the bride choose to put it on or not. I've never seen a consultant on this show if they put you in a dress that's more than a few hundred over your budget, not tell the bride the price of the dress because if it's not doable, there is no point to put it on. But alot of brides will put it on anyway.
Who spends that kind of money on a dress that’s only going to be worn once? I’m what is considered very well off financially and the price of these dresses are ridiculous. I agree and many I know just rented their dresses. Those who did buy it only bought it for a low price. Why spend so much on a dress you will only wear once?

@@user-hv3hd1xg3bThat is not true as no one cares what the bride wears at all. Plus, at our weddings, we wear 3-4 dresses so the white wedding dress is less memorable. Only the bride herself, her mom, maybe her mother in law and husband care but that is it. No one else ever cares at all.
The problem is these women spend more time caring about picking out all the "right" aspects of the wedding instead of the most important aspect of the marriage....picking the right spouse for the right reasons!! Couple things: A). Cost. Anything more than a couple thousand is a waste of money. I recommend finding a vintage dress or a clearance sale dress that you can give away. Keep in mind that typically the size you are as a bride will be the smallest you will be in your lifetime, so whatever dress you buy, chances are you will only wear it ONCE……for less than 8 hours. The money you save can go into buying your house, not into something that will never have a use ever again after the ceremony . B). Your man is most likely not going to want his entire family (parents, grandparents, brothers & sisters), plus all his buddies and his co-workers (or clients) to see his bride basically naked by leaving NOTHING to the imagination. That’s a sight for his eyes only!! He wants to see you looking like an angel which generally means COVERED!! Peekaboo, slits, deep drop backs, low cuts fronts and beyond skin tight are all looks that interest him IN THE CLUB, not at the alter. Last thing you want is your guests feeling like they need to be throwing you dollar bills for the show you’re giving them!! A man wants to marry a LADY, not a hook up.
The amount that she's gonna spend on that dress she could use as a down payment on her house it's unbelievable that somebody would pay that much for a wedding dress that's only going to last for 1 day
Agree, So many choices. Especially even a 3k vs. 5K or 15k. THink Those who Are not part of an Intimate wedding said few will be be able to describe "the dress". They will be able to describe the setting, the yummy food or music, laughter. Sorry 15k on a dress just saddens me.

I saw a show a long time ago. Not sure if it was filmed in the US or the UK. Anyway, the show featured a shop where a bride to be was in the market to buy a used wedding gown.
Unless you are in the public eye go for a tasteful yet fun dress for a sensible budget: much better to use the money for a your first house purchase!!
The Gads y dress was beautifully ful
The amount that she's gonna spend on that dress she could use as a down payment on her house it's unbelievable that somebody would pay that much for a wedding dress that's only going to last for 1 day
I am from the UK. We are a bit lacking on the pageant thing over here. What is the difference between a pageant queen and a beauty queen?

Where is the $124,400 dress. I'm here for that. Did it have to go back in the vault?
Agree, So many choices. Especially even a 3k vs. 5K or 15k.
THink Those who
Are not part of an Intimate wedding said few will be be able to describe "the dress". They will be able to describe the setting, the yummy food or music, laughter.
Sorry 15k on a dress just saddens me.

G😍RGEOUS!
I remember that I just wanted to get it over with the sari and the ceremony when I got married. If I were a bit more mature, I would have chosen a court marriage 😂
Love those first two gowns, but the bride did not fill out either of them.
Do brides sell their dresses after the wedding? I so would to try regain some money.
I saw a show a long time ago. Not sure if it was filmed in the US or the UK. Anyway, the show featured a shop where a bride to be was in the market to buy a used wedding gown. The original owners would go to the store with their used dresses and the bride to be would buy and reuse the dress. Not sure why they don’t have more shops like that around here.
