In our Indian culture,it's a ritual, parents spend alot for their children wedding. It's luv from their side as we live in families,we do alot for our families. . But u PPL have different perspective - money is not everything.
I think 2 of the dresses are too similar to each other (but she looked stunning in them). I agree that the Indian ceremony should have colour! Traditional Indian ceremonies looks so beautiful. Also, it's nice to see a rich family that's polite with no drama :)
yeah I would have thought that if she is going to the extra effort and expense of having a separate traditional Indian ceremony that she would then have the traditional dress.
If she is Christian then a white dress IS the traditional Indian wedding attire. Indian wedding dresses vary across states, religions etc. There is no fixed wedding attire in India - people often modify what they want to wear as they wish. Some people go the red lehenga route, some go white lehenga, orange lehenga, pink lehenga, green saree, white gold saree, some do banarsi saree, some wear dresses, etc etc.
This bride is AWESOME! Stayed in budget; she obviously respects her father and his generosity. Chose amazing and flattering gowns. Kept her venues in mind, while being true to herself and her personality. Wonderful!💖
First time I've seen a bride have a budget that considers the cost of alterations in her budget, too. Loved all 3 dresses for her, surprised she didn't try a coloured dress for her indian wedding but it was still fantastic ❤
All the three dresses are pretty on her. And her family is prettier. Also they manage everything in her budget. A wholesome video in Say Yes to the Dress. ❤️
Prettier* not *pettier* lol, but I got what you meant. The family is far from petty, and they have really nice fashion taste. Very sweet and generous as well.
@@TrinhNguyen-sh4fj I replied with a light, friendly tone by saying “lol” and adding “I knew what you meant.” But i didn’t realize I sounded like I was a spelling nazi out for blood and wishing death upon the commenter. Whoops, my bad.

Oh wish she had tried totally different styles - from princess, to drop waist and perhaps a blush coloured gown. The two gowns were almost identical. But lovely bride. Lovely family.
I think she is maybe Christian or else white dress for Indian wedding doesn’t make sense. I am sorry as I have no clear idea of how Indian wedding happens in foreign countries but I have seen some people wearing traditional in social media posts that’s it.
Honestly love these friends and family! They were very polite even when they didn't like a dress - no drama or anything just a polite "hmm maybe something a little different would fit better" kinda thing. Love it!
I think she had a great and supportive group of friends and family with her. When her father joined, you could tell he really wanted to be their from the beginning. He was great. Glad she found what she was looking for. Good luck and best wishes.
I thought she might be a Christian girl, but her father's name is Ravi which is a Hindu name. I too was surprised when she chose white gown for Indian ceremony.
This is my most favorite family on here so far. They're the most kindest, respectful and supportive of the bride and the crew. I love how they were just so grateful and easy to work with. 😄
What a privilege to be able to have three wedding ceremonies and three dresses - and props to her for being grounded and sticking to the budget. She looked lovely in all the outfits
I like her, I like her family, and I like that she stayed in budget for 3 amazing dresses, especially when there are so many other brides that have the same budget for just 1 dress, and they still manage to go over sometimes by thousands!
I always wonder about the veils though, they can add thousands to the total. Loved how swiftly this moved along and bride was so clear within herself on how she felt about each dress, beautiful bride!
and it's so dumb because they are a piece of tulle with a comb, and maybe some crystals. You can buy one for a fraction of the price if you know where to look
My daughter just chose her wedding dress a week ago, so this totally made me cry. It’s such a special moment, and one I’ve dreamed of sharing with her since she was born.
My thought exactly! Makes no sense to have a separate Indian ceremony and not even wear Indian. Moreover wearing white is not auspicious as Hindu bride since white is worn for funerals by Indians.
I love how supportive the family was of her. And I love how she respected her father’s wishes on the budget. As for alterations. If she only went $400 over. When she had a $15,000.00 budget. That is seriously not bad considering she got three dresses. All three of them beautiful none the less.
I wonder if, all those years ago, her parents were able to have two weddings. Perhaps we are looking at a tradition. Her parents were so beautiful together.

Despite my previous remark, I finished the clip and I actually did like the dress after all. Not my favorite, by far, but still pretty. I like the other two as well. I really enjoyed this one: the bride to be was laid back, cooperative, accomadating, just super nice. Yeah, Daddy was paying for it but she was still cool. Not all brides to be with money are like that...I loved it when her Dad dropped by to surprise her. I even said "Awwwwww!!!" out loud. I'm getting a little sentimental in my old age...
@@tejasvinemani6763You can wear both. At our weddings, we wear the white one for the ceremony, the traditional one for the reception to greet each table, the cake cutting gown to cut the cake and then either use the same dress to dance or change into another traditional gown.

such a gorgeous bride on the outside and inside. Usually the brides get more bratty the higher their budget, especially when their dads are paying. This family seems so lovely
She has excellent taste, every dress she picked looks fabulous on her and I love that she is a little extravagant, it totally suits her 😊. Lovely woman and a lovely bridal party.
All the dresses were really beautiful.. bt it would've been nice to see her in diff colour dress for the indian wedding as for the rest she already chose to wear white.
While I loved the dresses the one she opted for an Indian wedding was nothing Indian. Wish she had opted for an Indian attire. That way she would have something different. All three look the same. The lace one for church ceremony was simple and sweet but the other two looked so similar.
Good for her, the Vineyard dress was stunning! But can't help but wonder what's the point of doing a seperate Indian ceremony if you are not wearing a traditional gown... Like, going out of your way to cater to a cultural-style wedding, I'd say fully embrace it. Same for the church wedding, since it's specifically Spanish catholic could have gone for more modest(cover shoulders). I'm no one for religion, but if you choose that type of wedding gotta respect the context I feel.

Yes and I am shocked that she did not. In our culture, we wear 3-4 dresses with at least 1-2 traditional dresses included.
