Thanks for the great video. What are the usual suspects to find a consistent 2 psi boost leak ? Do you have to tighten anything underneath intake manifold ?
Never got a chance to build my dream supercharged FRS. I did get a chance to drive a supercharged FRS at the track. It did have cooling issues. Dont know if the owner ever got that sorted.
Ah yes Ive heard the oil temp issue is exacerbated when going FI. And yes I've heard some FI owners saying the stock cooling system needed to be uprated. Lots of guys run hood vents partially for this issue.
i have a question, i have a 15 brz w a supercharger, no tune, and i have a running rich code n B1 S.B cam position sensor correlation code. where do i start looking, timing issue? tune issue? boost leak issue? i dont know where to start other than swapping cam sensors to see if the code moves. i bought it used i know i need the tune eventually but do i remove the supercharger and see if it straightens itself out? im trying to use that as last resort
the stock block can handle up to 300 hp reliably with proper maintenance so i would say no, unless your cracking close to or over 300 hp. but if you want to go for it
the finger pointer is what did it for me, love this channel, very underrated
Much appreciated! JDM style YO!
Will a new stock clutch work in this platform?

Boost leak testers are cheap enough on amazon. Biggest culprit of boost leaks is hose clamps

You need a tune with a supercharger. Without it the engine is going to blow up
Ive driven alot of exotics you name it ive either owned it or driven it. I own a black supercharged brz ts and more fun the 99% of cars
Do you have to build the block if you’re running low boost?
