ok so i wan to buy Poco F3 5g($476.25 ebay with tax) bc of snapD 780chip 120hz, But OnePlus 8 is 90hz snapD 865 ($410.27 ebay wit tax). i dont care about camera quality, just games, but rn my phone redmi 10x 5g has Dimensity 820 chip and runs my game no lag, but its China ROM so it dont have gud signal 5g, max mpbs i get is 24. But Poco F3 and OnePlus 8 are Global Rom i think so it will solve it,. So should i just get OnePlus 8 bc its 74$ cheaper but with 90hz,...But my game runs fine on Dimensity 820, so would snapD 780 just be unecessary, and i should just upg to snapD 865?

OnePlus 8 is absolutely worth it, display is lovely and havent had a single problem yet and the camera is pretty good eventhough I didn't buy it because of that

I'm very happy with my OnePlus 8. The camera is exceptional in portrait mode but can be hit or miss with photos being washed out due to the sun and the front camera makes a strange blueish tint on low light. I will say my OnePlus 6 feels like it took better pictures in some aspects however it had years of updates to get to that point. The warp charge is amazing. I LOVE the 90hz refresh rate. All in all this phone is amazing.

There was no money in being a flagship killer. The ultimate goal was to be a flagship and no be so skinny on the profits.

If the price differential is negligible, there is no longer a compelling case to buy a oneplus phone rather than Samsung and Apple.
It was done to create brand loyalty. At present people who buy one plus phones won't buy anything.

People forget that when the first Oneplus phone launched it cost about 300$ vs samsung's top phone which cost about 600$. Now years later, samsung's best phones cost 1000 - 1400 $, while Oneplus is now 700-900. Yes Oneplus is now more premium and more expensive but the price of all phones kept rising every year not just oneplus. You don't expect the best high-end components every year at the same price as 6 years ago. All that shit will inevitably cost more. If you want more budget alternatives you can probably find older OP6T or OP7 at about 500 (or samsung's older phones which are much cheaper now than at launch) if you don't want the latest premium flagship.
I bought a close to new OP 7 Pro half a year ago for 350€ :D

I honestly don’t think there is all that much point in these comparisons: for the most part an Android user wants an Android phone in their particular budget and an iPhone user wants an iPhone in their particular budget. Very few people (IMHO) are going to drop their iPhone for an Android because of its hardware and features, because they are invested in their platform. The same would apply to an Android user moving to iPhone. I would imagine only a handful of people are genuinely weighing these two devices up as their option.

I've owned several iPhones in the past. I loved them. The software is the main selling point. The 6S was the last practical iPhone in my opinion as I valued the 3.5mm audio jack and it was priced well on release & I preferred the excellent Touch ID over Face ID. But nowadays it's difficult to justify the iPhone's cost (except the new SE). Same old display for ages, Slow charging, Exorbitant prices for bigger memory storage variants. I've transitioned to the OnePlus and don't regret it a bit. Right now, It is the superior phone for the price.

No they support fast charging but the adapter doesn’t come in the box for the base iphone11. I work on batteries and I would always recommend slow charging. 30W is just absolutely ridiculous!

Fast charge is killing its battery unless you change your battery every 2 year
Giving You Sports From My Point Of View fast charging will draw battery capacity and only iOS has Battery Optimization in the settings.
