Both are very fast.
Iphones camera is marginally better.
IPhones are much better optimised and recieve software updates for much longer.

Apply sucks at multitasking, apps will turn off lol...low ram is hurting it...the chipset is what makes phones fast, along with less graphic launcher.

I love my all screen display on the OnePlus 7 pro, I don't feel like this is much of an upgrade. I'll wait till something revolutionary comes out.
I'm also a 7 pro user, and I agree. The only type of front-facing camera that's better than a popup camera is an under-screen camera.

Nice comparison - the only unanswered question is how good is the warp wireless charging as this requires the OnePlus super dooper wireless charger and so far this isn’t either available or no reviewer has one. It would be nice to see this in operation to see if it actually stands up to the claims.

Based on the prices I've found for the 8 pro and 8 here in Sweden (which for some reason didn't have the colors I wanted on the cheaper versions?) It's a 230 USD difference, and I personally feel that the only difference between them that I'd appreciate is the wireless charging, but I'm not feeling it's worth 230 USD, especially if I've gotta pay another 80 USD for the wireless warp charger. I'm going with the non-pro

Still using the OnePlus 8 pro in 2022 and it's very solid! I don't really use the 120hz display or the wireless Warp charging, mainly because I don't have the wireless charger for it lol But I've really enjoyed using this phone, just waiting on Android 12 to arrive ANYTIME now. 🙂🤞
I've had my One+Plus 7T for 2 years and it rocks! Battery still very strong. The big camera bezel is okay, tends to collect fingerprints. Need to wipe prior to snapping photos.

@@MrLicoriceTree it's grown on me, different dimensions took awhile to get used, it's not as easy to hold with one hand..less weight, easier to carry in your pocket which is a plus. As far as the interface it's just about exactly the same. Camera is a smidge better, nothing crazy.

Lew, i think your front camera is auto focus on your face and that makes the device looks a little bit blurry from the front view... i think is more enjoyable looking the device clear too from the front facing angle like your old videos..
Really want the pro version. I guess the finish and camera bump doesn't really matter when your going to shove a big phone cover on the phone to protect it (and it makes the back flat/camera not stick out). 👌

I had this choice between the Pro and non-Pro in the 7 series. In the end, I chose the 7 non-Pro because the size felt better. That said the price difference was big enough too

I'm a few months in with my 7T Pro McLaren and I still love it. Good speed, got the best back design ever for a phone and I don't mind the pop-up selfie can since I rarely use it. I clearly underestimated OnePlus the past two years. If they come out with a McLaren edition for the 8 Pro, I'm sure it'll be good.
