Yes it's lovely to see omp playing at 83 years young why because I've just become a senior golfer myself at 66 I hope I can do the same .you never know I may even get to make a guest appearance on golf mates when I get older .

OMP he is the best golf pensioner I’ve ever seen. I play with my club in the seniors sweeps and comps on a Mondays and never seen of of us hit a ball like Pat. I am 71 and Pats got over 10 years on me, he’s unbelievable love watching his play 😊

Love seeing OMP on the course. I taught my dad to play golf in his 70's. He was a very practical WW II veteran. He hit short but straight every time. One day, the local pro talked to me. He said my dad would play by himself and play hole #1 and then paralleling back on hole #2. He would not play #3 or further but would repeat #1 and #2 over and over. He made that loop 9 times for 18 holes. We asked my dad about it. He said why would anyone move to #3 when they hadn't mastered #1 and #2. The pro smiled and told my dad to keep doing what made him happy. There's some sage advice in there. Hearing OMP reminds me of my dad. Play your game and don't worry about what others do...

Re lost ball… when my mates and I play non-comp friendly golf, we always allow a free drop when a ball is clearly on a cut area but lost in leaves or plugged due to winter conditions. Only fair.

OMP swing is so easy and lovely to watch, Liam your shot with a 4 iron that hit the tree did make me laugh as this winter I have hit a few trees trying to get out of trouble lol

Never mind hitting trees trying to get out of trouble, one day having a nightmare of a round the best shot I hit all day 5 wood smacked into a tree about 80 yards in front of me and bounced all the way back to 5 yards behind me. The golfing gods I just had to laugh
Great to see OMP back on the channel. Must confess the people I play with and i have an agreement that a 'lost ball' when it looked to be landing in play in these conditions can be a free drop. Too often it is hidden under leaves (earlier in the year) or sunk into LONG (overly long) rough 'cos they simply cannot cut it. Not really the fault of the golfer. We agree on a likely landing spot and let them take a free drop (and loose a ball)

Liam, your handicap is far lower than mine, but some of your backswings were getting very inside very quick in this video. You’ve got the skill to get back on plane most of the time, but a more outside takeaway would probably make your results more consistent. Basing this comment on a Danny Maude RUclips lesson, not my own limited understanding of the golf swing!
