I have a zero tolerance policy for ghosting. There’s very limited reasons why ghosting would be acceptable. But simply because she doesn’t have the courage to just tell you she’s no longer or is interested that’s not acceptable period.
I agree. I was a few years ago and dumped by text. I am almost over trying/hoping to find a partner ie female partner I am getting more and more ok with being alone .I am very empathic but tired of being used and betrayed and lied too.

Anna, thank you so much for creating your channel. I'm back in the dating game after my marriage of ten years ended in divorce back in March of this year. I've only dated two women since becoming single. The first of whom ghosted me after going on seven dates, which all went pretty well. We went without contact for two months, then she randomly popped up and messaged me one day back in November. She was talking about how much she missed me, and how we need to do this and that together. Low and behold, she ghosted again on Christmas day, not responding to my messages, but posting all kinds of pics on FB. This definitely seems to be a pattern with her, and I've learned my lesson. She and I are finished.
If she reaches out again, don’t ghost her, tell her you’re interested in someone who is more reliable. Keep in mind that not replying for a few hours or a few days is not ghosting, but it might be playing games and is disrespectful just the same.
Anne is 100%.....some modern women nowadays have attention from hundreds of men monthly, on their phones, they love being wanted. After bouncing from man to man, they find it hard to pair bond. In the end they keep certain men in their rotation and rotate,when they get bored. Be careful you don't fall into this kind of open relationship, unless you want it.

She's trying to live her youth again , (maybe influenced by her teenage daughters ) and is out maybe chasing chad and ray lol. It never ends well. If she would have blocked and ghosted me like that, I would have immediately moved on. That is a red flag if I ever saw one. Another thing, I would have never told her that I once cheated on a woman. That would have gone to the grave with me. There's no sense in worrying a new girlfriend about an issue like that especially if you have changed for the better and don't do that anymore. If you block them or they block you, it is time to move on and forget about it. There should be no exception to this. There should be no 'getting your ex back." At the beginning I think she was there for a good time, not a long time. Things have to go a "certain way" for them to continue. It is not as if I make rules, but if I get a bad gut feeling I just have to shut it down. Someone else always comes along.
Good content as usual Anna. Ghosting is as such a huge and final red flag. Ghosting in any relationship, short or long, is IMHO brutal, we all deserves something better than that. I would never trust again a person after ghosting me=game over.

Very good video and i like the way you broke it down. With a person who likes to play games - (that on an off blocking) after the 2 nd time i just drop that person and move on. Many people don't have time for childish attitudes. Just cut them off and move on. In a marriage that kind of crap will not go. Dating exposes these things be it man or women.

There is one factor you have to consider first. How old is he? He sounds young and because he is young. This might just be nothing more then a lesson. There is drama in all relationships, but to start a relationship with drama is a life fill with chaos. Maybe she did him a favor, move on, he has a lot to learn and if there is indeed such thing as a "soulmate". I don't think she would fill your life with uncertainty.

That certainly could be a reason why. It could also be that he was hounding her. Many potential reasons, but if someone doesn't give warning "If you don't stop messaging me 30x a day I'm going to have to block you" sort of thing (which happens to men and women btw) then yeah, forget her.
@@YourWingmam MY take is that; her favorite was coming back this is why she got "rid" of mister #2 or (3 or 4...) through blocking. When it did not work with her favorite(s) she came back to him, knowing he would be there to be her "emotional support" and go to backup. Anna, I find your videos long on wisdom and very short on fluff. I admire the gentle hand you have as you deliver what can be painful Truth. Regarding "Ghosting"; it is a coward's tool to avoid confrontation. If I am unacceptable in some way,( though I can't imagine what that would be) have the courage to tell me face to face. Don't weasel out. I'm long past the time of life in which I am self-critical. I've done that and am over with it. I'm a widower after 54 years of a very good marriage. There isn't much that shakes my confidence. By now, if I haven't seen it or done it it's probably not worth the time to be concerned. That sounds egotistical, but not, just experienced. I suspect that I shall re-watch a number of you videos as I dip my toe into the dating pool. Regards, Dan

He talks a lot, he's not the best listener, and may have ADHD. He really only talks to me when we hang out and nobody else. He loves sports and we usually ice skate, bowl, or rollerblade. Do you think it's possible to maintain my social commitment with a guy that may have ADHD while chatting with a fine lady, or just stick with my friendship commitment in order to avoid any problems?
Great question! That's something you should discuss with your friend. Ask him what he would want from you in a similar situation. If you ask him hypothetically before you're in a live situation about what he would want if it was him wanting to talk to someone. He might be less selfish in what he asks of you (assuming your values match). Then make a pact and dont' break it without permission unless you're willing to lose that friendship. Keep this in mind: true friends will want what's best for you as long as you're pulling your friendship weight. :)

Yes! I can relate to this situation; pursued me for sometime, dated 11 years, common interest, communication was excellent when it came to wants and needs, intelligent, discussed a variety of subjects of interest, both of us are from Ireland and became very close. However! I told her I would never marry again, and live separately, no issue there. (Downside!) single mother of three, love to gossip, unreliable when staying in touch, did not like to be seen in public as a couple, called her out and was assertive, (liked it when i took the lead). One day she went no contact, I tried many forms of communication to no avail, when I finally had the opportunity to come face to face, I suggested we should stay in touch, the response, I' am to busy, I expected no less after one and half years, just wanted closure.

Yep, it is often very difficult to change a relationship dynamic that isn't working. Almost impossible if the other person isn't willing to participate in making changes.
As hard as it is to say this, it sounds like he's better off on his own. Calling him her "forever" guy one day and then blocking him a couple days later? Blocking him multiple times over the course of their time together? Maybe she's a likable person, but it sure doesn't sound like she's in the right frame of mind for a serious relationship. Sadly, I think he's better off looking elsewhere. This is easy, she sent him a hint that she wants a commitment, they've known each other for years, and it sounds like he's just playing......and it seems that she's not playing around and he's waffling. She's sending a hint that she's looking for another guy that can commit.

Unless there are other red flags, I wouldn’t necessarily count this as one. Go live your life, text her in a day or two (depending how often you usually communicate) and let her know you hope she’s feeling better. In this case assume she’s being truthful. For now.

So this is the idea I get from these lessons, and I'd like your thoughts on it to see if I'm on track. Rather than chasing a woman, which would make her see you as lesser-than and therefore not husband material, become the quality man they'd desire, let them chase after you, and then invite them into your already complete life as a complimentary person. I always want the truth, and want to know why. So I would rather know. That said I know that is rare! And even if someone tells you why t hey left, it is usually not the real reason. So I have learned to accept, I will likely not really know why it ended.

It was a very good review you done from that comment anna. So, I believe it's not just in relationship this ghosting happens to men by woman. I don't often hear that men ghosted womans, but everytime I hear that men got ghosted by woman and woman who dislikes men and woman who rejects man. It something very very common and normal what we used to hear more often. What should we do about this situation and you gave a proper solution not only this time but even in other times as well. The men who always encourages the bad behaviours of woman is really a main cause of that why this is happening and also simping. I think idea of soulmate is dangerous for some reasons and I did considered someone as soulmate and I had the similar ghosting story happened with a woman, but not with the one who I considered as a soulmate or on relationship but in the another different situation and as men it is very important for us not to engage in any bad habits which may ruin our life and love and that's how my ghosting story happened and sometimes some womens may first try to connect with us emotionally but then they dumb us and that happened to me and that's because I gave her more attention and validation and I learned my lessons and I can't go more into details about that. My cat always comes back when it wants food. So if you want her to come back get lots of food and watch it come back. If that doesn't work get a new cat.
One day everything was great literally had a perfect day no fights being lovable to each other and the next day literally first thing in the morning she treated me like I was her enemy somebody else pissed her off she took everything out on me acting like it was my fault for everything when I tried to talk to her there was no reaching like talking to a wall then I get the silent treatment then after a while she starts talking to me again nicely when it's convenient for her this happens quite often the ghosting gets longer and longer every time

Anna, thank you so much for creating your channel. I'm back in the dating game after my marriage of ten years ended in divorce back in March of this year. I've only dated two women since becoming single. The first of whom ghosted me after going on seven dates, which all went pretty well. We went without contact for two months, then she randomly popped up and messaged me one day back in November. She was talking about how much she missed me, and how we need to do this and that together. Low and behold, she ghosted again on Christmas day, not responding to my messages, but posting all kinds of pics on FB. This definitely seems to be a pattern with her, and I've learned my lesson. She and I are finished.
If she reaches out again, don’t ghost her, tell her you’re interested in someone who is more reliable. Keep in mind that not replying for a few hours or a few days is not ghosting, but it might be playing games and is disrespectful just the same.
Anne is 100%.....some modern women nowadays have attention from hundreds of men monthly, on their phones, they love being wanted. After bouncing from man to man, they find it hard to pair bond.
In the end they keep certain men in their rotation and rotate,when they get bored. Be careful you don't fall into this kind of open relationship, unless you want it.

Very good video and i like the way you broke it down. With a person who likes to play games - (that on an off blocking) after the 2 nd time i just drop that person and move on. Many people don't have time for childish attitudes. Just cut them off and move on. In a marriage that kind of crap will not go. Dating exposes these things be it man or women.

There is one factor you have to consider first. How old is he? He sounds young and because he is young. This might just be nothing more then a lesson. There is drama in all relationships, but to start a relationship with drama is a life fill with chaos. Maybe she did him a favor, move on, he has a lot to learn and if there is indeed such thing as a "soulmate". I don't think she would fill your life with uncertainty.

That certainly could be a reason why. It could also be that he was hounding her. Many potential reasons, but if someone doesn't give warning "If you don't stop messaging me 30x a day I'm going to have to block you" sort of thing (which happens to men and women btw) then yeah, forget her.

When it did not work with her favorite(s) she came back to him, knowing he would be there to be her "emotional support" and go to backup. Anna, I find your videos long on wisdom and very short on fluff. I admire the gentle hand you have as you deliver what can be painful Truth. Regarding "Ghosting"; it is a coward's tool to avoid confrontation. If I am unacceptable in some way,( though I can't imagine what that would be) have the courage to tell me face to face. Don't weasel out. I'm long past the time of life in which I am self-critical. I've done that and am over with it. I'm a widower after 54 years of a very good marriage. There isn't much that shakes my confidence. By now, if I haven't seen it or done it it's probably not worth the time to be concerned. That sounds egotistical, but not, just experienced. I suspect that I shall re-watch a number of you videos as I dip my toe into the dating pool. Regards, Dan

Great question! That's something you should discuss with your friend. Ask him what he would want from you in a similar situation. If you ask him hypothetically before you're in a live situation about what he would want if it was him wanting to talk to someone. He might be less selfish in what he asks of you (assuming your values match). Then make a pact and dont' break it without permission unless you're willing to lose that friendship. Keep this in mind: true friends will want what's best for you as long as you're pulling your friendship weight. :)

Yes! I can relate to this situation; pursued me for sometime, dated 11 years, common interest, communication was excellent when it came to wants and needs, intelligent, discussed a variety of subjects of interest, both of us are from Ireland and became very close. However! I told her I would never marry again, and live separately, no issue there. (Downside!) single mother of three, love to gossip, unreliable when staying in touch, did not like to be seen in public as a couple, called her out and was assertive, (liked it when i took the lead). One day she went no contact, I tried many forms of communication to no avail, when I finally had the opportunity to come face to face, I suggested we should stay in touch, the response, I' am to busy, I expected no less after one and half years, just wanted closure.

Yep, it is often very difficult to change a relationship dynamic that isn't working. Almost impossible if the other person isn't willing to participate in making changes.

As hard as it is to say this, it sounds like he's better off on his own. Calling him her "forever" guy one day and then blocking him a couple days later? Unless there are other red flags, I wouldn’t necessarily count this as one. Go live your life, text her in a day or two (depending how often you usually communicate) and let her know you hope she’s feeling better. In this case assume she’s being truthful. For now.

I don't often hear that men ghosted womans, but everytime I hear that men got ghosted by woman and woman who dislikes men and woman who rejects man. It something very very common and normal what we used to hear more often. What should we do about this situation and you gave a proper solution not only this time but even in other times as well. The men who always encourages the bad behaviours of woman is really a main cause of that why this is happening and also simping. One day everything was great literally had a perfect day no fights being lovable to each other and the next day literally first thing in the morning she treated me like I was her enemy somebody else pissed her off she took everything out on me acting like it was my fault for everything when I tried to talk to her there was no reaching like talking to a wall then I get the silent treatment then after a while she starts talking to me again nicely when it's convenient for her this happens quite often the ghosting gets longer and longer every time
