With its distinctive yellow exterior and futuristic elements, it captured the imagination of pickup enthusiasts.
    Honda Spocket (1999): Honda's covert creation, the Spocket, wowed audiences with its convertible design and hybrid powertrain. Despite never reaching production, its versatile rear half, angular bodywork, and advanced four-wheel-drive system left a lasting impression on concept car aficionados.
    Ram 5500 Long Hauler (2011): Born from Chrysler's Innovation Group, the Ram 5500 Long Hauler was a titan of the road, built for heavy-duty hauling across vast distances. With its Mega Cab conversion, extended bed, and array of custom modifications, it epitomized endurance and capability.
    Dodge Sidewinder (1997): A vision of speed and style, the Dodge Sidewinder dazzled at the SEMA convention with its roadster charm and monstrous 8.0-liter V10 engine. Although it remained a concept, its lightning-fast acceleration and sleek design cemented its status as a legendary show car.
    Dodge M80 (2002): Dodge's nod to the past with a twist, the M80 blended retro aesthetics with modern utility. Powered by a V6 engine and boasting unique features like side storage lockers and old-school fuel caps, it embodied simplicity and rugged charm.
    Chevrolet XT-2 (1989): A fusion of muscle and innovation, the Chevrolet XT-2 pushed the boundaries of concept pickups in 1989. With its high-performance V6 engine, race-inspired design, and striking paint job, it left a lasting legacy as a pace vehicle for the CART PPG Indy Car World Series.

    That yellow F Truck I can see a bit of family resemblance with the front indicators to the EF-EL(93 to 98) Falcon from Ford's Australian division and the Sn95 Mustang inspired taillights.
    And what a shame that Sidewinder never made it to production, because that looked marvellous.

    What a mistake the Dodge never decided to mass produce the M80. The design would still hold its own today.

    That concept 7.3 power stroke truck was just horrid, what the hell were they thinking?

  • @splitsecondmagician
    @splitsecondmagician 3 месяца назад

    Fact, the only thing that the 7.3 IDI and the 7.3 Powerstroke have in common are their displacement. The two any engines couldn't be any more different from each other. The 7.3 IDI is a simple engine to work on, and if people actually maintained them, very reliable engines. The 7.3 Powerstroke is a nightmare to work on though.

    Your TTS needs to learn that 5500 is usually said as "fifty-five hundred," especially when talking about vehicles.
    Edit: If Dodge had kept more to the way the M80 looked I wouldn't have hated their late 90s/early 00s trucks nearly as much.
