The Bristol 412 looks as if Zagato wanted to sabotage the Bristol company. It is as ugly as a product from the garage of a talentless tinkerer. The sight of it hurts my eyes and I wouldn't show my face anywhere in this car.

Bristol cars were beautiful and for their time as fast as hell and built with aircraft tolerances, no to an inch like American cars but to 10 thou of an inch!

Ginetta is still producing cars.

I can't believe that Zagoto would let their name to be associated with that boxy styling mess of a Bristol. I guess driving it would be okay with a big V-8. Is it me or does that front reminds us of a Yugo? I'm a fan of Bristol, their previous models were quite attractive but this one...ycch! The Beuford looked much better but still had that big slab over the headlights. If they had brought the hood line down to a soft edge it would have looked much better. Gorgeous interiors on these cars. The Panhard was cool ugly. It looks like the took 49 Ford, washed it in real hot water and it shrunk.

Never really liked the Bristols though they were quite popular in the UK if you had the money. They shut their factory in February 2020.

The Ginetta was very well known in the UK and are manufacturing the G40 and G56 for racing only and the GTR for road use as well as a retro G10

@15:20 Funny how GM liked that nazi SS slogan huh? lol For GM SS = Super Shite. I beat one of these in a 97 stang with a puny 3.8l V6 that had some programming but no bolt on parts. The 3 speed auto in the chevy was prob half the reason he couldn't keep up compared to a 5 speed manual lol

When the concept of a 2-seat sports car led to a competition between GM divisions, Buick built the Wildcat. It was really even cooler than the Chevrolet version which ended up being chosen. I uncovered the prototype one day under a tarp in the basement of the Alfred P. Sloan museum in Flint, Michigan in 1976. I often wonder what happened to it.

Ugly Stutz!! The lead designer, Virgil Exner, was fired by Chrysler for the horrid designs he concocted in the early 1960s. Why didn't the developer of Stutz take notice?

The Stutz Blackhawk wouldn’t take much to give it a 2024-25 look with some halogen headlights and more bell and whistles

The Edsel looked a lot like that Mercury Turnpike Cruiser...AND, that mid-engine Corvette looks as good as anything today, if not better.

Those Panhards were the very definition of "UGLY". Interesting design and mechanics... but just plain homely.

X-100 Was a performance version of the Mercury Marauder in 1969 & 70. The restoration looks pretty complete based on the videos of it at Mecum and the guy being interviewed.

7:52 ..... Built for long road trips???? You could easily fit 2.8 UK's inside my home state of Texas. El Paso is closer to San Diego California (724 mi) than it is to West Texarkana (812 mi). Say what you want about the xp8 882. I’m not that much into the wankel-engine it had but if they’C8 would look more like this - and not like an angry teenager designed it - I’d be tempted to buy the first corvette after I had a C3 for some years.

Honestly, they were sort of ugly, like a woman putting on too much makeup.

It would have been a great addition to this video to have added the 1969 American Motors AMX3. The difference with it to these was that it was intended to be produced, although only 6 were built. Mid-engined, running 170 mph at the Turin speedway, and absolutely GORGEOUS!!!

The Mercury turnpike cruiser like the Ford futura could have been converted over to a batmobile also I'm glad they chose the Ford futura I think I speak for everybody on that one. But that's not to say that the turnpike cruiser would not have made a excellent superhero / villain transporter. Which superhero or super villain would you have chosen for the turnpike cruiser?😊

How much you want to bet that John DeLorean in that particular time frame purposely scrubbed the areo vette to make way for a new design car that he had come up that borrowed these particular chassis component design. Things that kind of Make You go hmmm.........😮

Some of these cars were never meant to be produced, they were just meant to showcase certain innovations that would later be put in their regular line . New features, designed to attract buyers . These so-called concepts tested these innovations, to gear them to the buying publics pocket books, that at that time were very difficult to open.
