When I was in my late teens a Monteverdi 375L was owned by somebody locally. It has always been one of my favourite cars and In all the years since my first sighting, I've only encountered around 5 other Monteveris, equating to about 1 per decade. Truly stunning cars.
At one point, the Jensens had Chrysler HEMI's and 440 wedges. The cars werecacbit heavy and would have benefitted from dieting. But the car was aimed at the Grand Touring Luxury market. The build quality was Outstanding.
I think the Jensen FF also had traction control, but I may be wrong? The pictures you show of technical details are often wrong. The de Dion suspension picture, for instance, is incorrect. A good choice of cars, though. Thanks.
How do you open your presentation with a phrase referring to 1966 while showing a late ‘80’s Lincoln Town Car and then an early seventies Mopar???? 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
Sorry. Monteverdi don´t built the MBM Himself. Perhaps the Chassis. But the Karosserie was make by HERON from England. He changed perhaps some think on the design, but It will be not his one car. The Monteverdi cars are verry amazing. And the best is the HAI: great looking. Fabulus. I saw it in Basel in the Museum.
Please remember that the "World" that was buying muscle cars was North America. The rest of us that couldn't afford an Italian car ending with an i bought Jags or used Jags.
Down under they still had bought and built muscle cars when American cars were restricted. The Aussies had a good share of muscle cars even longer than "North America". The Aussies didn't have restrictions...
The '60 Chevrolet, has abslutely no connection with anything in this video, especially the Jensen FF. I believe the FF was sold in the US, with the 7.2 L, 440 ci engine.
Jensen Interceptor is my favourite car of all times for english, american and Italian taste, the Monteverdi 375L is the most beautiful car ever.
I went on visit to the Monteverdi factory in the late 60s. It was like a hospital operating theatre! So impressive! And beautiful cars.
An excellent selection of Grand Tourers

Love to see the Monica close to the SM. Great video. 👌🏼
Jensen FF what a beautiful car well ahead of it's time!

Always thought the Monica looked like a cross between a Lotus Elan +2 & a Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 & watching this video has convinced me even more.

6:21 that aint no de dion set up son.
That FF was certainly way ahead of its time and the Monteverdi looks a bit like the Jaguar of the period to me
In 1966 the 'WORLD' wasn't embracing muscle cars, it was only the US & possibly Australia who were.
one of seven monica live in germany. wow

I don't understand the left hand right hand limitations on the FF, since they show pictures of it with drivers now to the left, then to the right.
The picture is reversed. Look at the number plate.

An emergency is a situation. No need to be redundant.

Congratulations! Unlike many of these "clip shows" all of the photos seemed to be an actual picture of what you were talking about 😊

I assume you refer to Interceptor, not FF.

@@PetriTemiseva The 440 must have had too much torque for the Ferguson system.
