I'm a little sad to have missed this last stream. A big thanks to Chris and Milka for being such wonderful hosts and Mark and Jona for producing these critiques. It's been so much fun to be a part of. Learned more about type in this course than the last two years in uni.
I don't understand why there are 6 dislikes. There a nuggets of invaluable information here. Loved the critiques so much that I'm currently taking notes.
May God Bless you Chris and Milka abundantly for the knowledge you have gifted to us. Because of your passion for typopgraphy, graphic design, and teaching, I wouldn't have wanted to learn from any other teachers. Thank you!
I have really enjoyed these critiques. SO much knowledge is revealed when you walk through not only what looks "good" but your decision making to get it there. Thank you both!
Great baseball cap. I agree, as a designer I'm sure you can appreciate that the beauty and complexity of creation obviously had a designer. Random explosions from nothing do not create order, they create chaos.
Thank you so much Chris and Milka. These past few weeks have been really helpful with my journey in graphics design. I look forward to buying one of your courses soon. Cheers
Those techniques by Milka, are revolutionary...May be they aren't...though for me, those are...Loved it Thank God I found this channel...Precious as it can be...❤
90's type is really dated and outta style like faux hawks, disco, and leg warmers, but I'm glad milka and Chris are 'rocking/owning it' the generation they grew up to. F--k today's design trends, even tho I do it :( 1:07:32 not a good stab a redesign. negative spaces look like a checkerboard, not activated. also sliver (2-3 px wide) of black in upper -right corner
Thank you for spreading knowledge, this is a great generosity for those who need it
.
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you Carla. Keep on rocking :)
@@milka1502 You're welcome, Milka. I will! :)

Our pleasure!
Amazing, inspiring series. Great job everyone
The 34:00 part is made with a mesh warp with shadows on top to create a sense of depth. Cool effect
Absolutely brilliant! Thank you for this, Chris. You're the best.

Wow this is really helpful!!
Very happy to hear that :)
Excellent
Thanks for this video. So love it.
could someone explain what are they referring to when they talk about "experimenting with ice"? I'm very curious about this technique.
Ive found weeks 3 and 4 to be the easiest. The more elements and options there are, the harder it is.
Fabulous!!!
I can't find part 6 !
one of my teachers Hans Rudolf Lutz taught David Carson but as far as I know it was just a workshop.
Very nice!
Thanks!
Amazing
yellow spread at 26:07 needs to character return/kick-down 'a' and 'of' to next line...looks like they're gonna fall off :(
Is there anything reserved for the typography course now? I really enjoyed this series - it was packed with value.
pictures, apparently
Damnn this is so good...
I do not know if u guys feel the same, but at least for me this vid quality looks vague even in 1080p
You guys are making me laugh here : )
I wonder who are the other two fathers of modern typography
Man those slack notifications are giving me anxiety
Is it me or the video/audio is a little bit out-of-sync?
It is. Audio delay with my mic.
@@TheFuturAcademy I got a similar problem sometimes, how did you guys overcome it?
