This is just the exhaust setup muffling the car. The electric motor does not interfere with any of that. Aftermarket exhaust and headers will fix the issue. The Aston Martin Valkyrie and LaFerrari are plug in hybrids and yet they are deafening

Other manufacturers can do it even with regulations.. this is BMWs fault and it sucks
