You are setting a great example for other men, too. Be confident. Feminine, Godly women love a masculine, confident Godly man. ❤

I've always felt ashamed of being 100% financially supported by my husband, while also becoming more home and family-oriented and peaceful, thanks to that support. After watching your video, something just clicked, and I'm looking at this from another perspective. Maybe this feeling of shame is exactly what Satan wants to create in us, so that we cannot fully embrace or enjoy our husband's leadership in our marriage and discover our own role as a helpmeet (which is God's original plan for us.)

    • @AnnaDysett
      @AnnaDysett  4 месяца назад +9

I’m so sorry you’ve been led to feel that way. Society absolutely wants us to be ashamed. Like “oh you’re just a mom” and “you stay at home all day - what do you do?” But there is nothing more important than raising our children to be godly and nothing separates, stresses, and divides the foundations of a home more than two overworked people. I honestly find myself so much more attracted to my husband knowing he is loving and providing for me and my children. I’m excited that the veil is being lifted for you ♥️

Ask your husband what he would prefer - you going out to work or staying home. I suspect he greatly values your staying home. You are being of service to him and your family, He (hopefully ) comes home to a calm and clean, organised home, a happy smiley wife (most of the time) who has time to keep herself attractive for him, home cooked meals. My Mum in the 70's was a stay at home wife, as were most women at that time. Our home was well run and my Mum always wore dresses. Everyone's gardens were done, today many housing estates look like 3rd world slums.
I am in my 50's, after decades of working and exhausting myself, I have returned to the home - still work 10 hours a week, and enjoy being a feminine homemaker. When I am in my feminine energy, my husband loves it, you can see him visibly relax.

I'm 57, been embracing my softer side for a couple of years now.
      I would say...............
Set aside a whole day to have and test out "A feminine Day"
Maybe do it on a Sunday?
A week beforehand, sit down, think about it and plan it out. Let your imagination run wild. What would your day look like? Feel like?
What would you wear? What would you do? What would you eat and drink and how?
What would your home look like?
How would you feel? What self care would you do? What hobbies would you do?
Spend a few days before hand getting ready for it. eg buy a bunch of pretty flowers, or buy a pretty and feminine magazine to read, or borrow a lovely book from the library.
If there are items you would like to have but don't create a shopping list and gradually buy them over time. If you are on a tight budget, try 2nd hand shops.
There was a great RUclips video of a young woman who did a "Life in the day of a 1950's housewife" that I found useful. She started her day by having a bath, pampering herself and getting dressed in a feminine way.
At the end of the day, review it, what did you like or didn't like?
What can you easily incorporate into your current lifestyle?
What do you wish you had had that you may need to go out and buy?
I think as you go on this journey of transformation, having a feminine day on a regular basis, say weekly, will gradually help you to have a more softer and feminine lifestyle.

God has softened my heart, helping me to forgive and think of my own ego less often! I love this change! Also, funny enough, I have been embracing streetwear MORE as of late. It actually helps me feel more feminine in that I have a sense of style that allows me to escape the temptation to dress immodestly. For example, I have a hard time feeling put together if I am not showing skin. But, as a dancer, the streetwear style allows me to feel comfortable and put together while covering up. Now, when getting dressed, I can focus on cool color combinations as opposed to how "sexy" my body can look. I feel MUCH more feminine because I put time into my appearance without dressing provocatively. Very interesting to hear others' perspectives on this!

Thank you so much for your sweet soft heart. Repentance is such a beautiful thing. I rely on it daily. When I came to Christ…many, many years ago I began making lots of changes, too. Along with not swearing anymore I decided not to use the Lord’s name in vain. I had grown up using OMG (but, actually SAYING it) all the time. It took some time to stop, but now I would never say those words (or JC) and it truly hurts my ears to hear others say it. I love my Lord and Savior so much and I don’t want to offend Him. Keep on your journey. It’s a blessed one. Sending love and prayers your way. ❤

I struggle so much with being soft. I adore dresses and flowers and things like that, I used to be soft as a child but the empathy I had back then was painful to deal with and I had a lot of traumatic things happen that have really hardened me. I lack patience with my kids, I lack connection with them, I’m short tempered, I’m always so overwhelmed with everything and even yelling a lot. I don’t know how to fix it:(

I encourage you to wake up and have an open discussion with the Father all day long ♥️ every time something upsets you.. ask for Him to soften your heart, ask Him for patience, ask Him to help you to be slow to speak and slow to anger. It sounds like you really just need to lean in.

I wholeheartedly agree with Anna. You may find yourself in constant silent prayer, but over time it will soften you and give you more peace. We are told to “pray always” and maybe your situation is what will lead you to that. As you feel more at peace your whole household will change. An easy way to begin is to say a prayer out loud before each meal and try to eat together. This will help your patience and show your children that you are trying. I will keep you in my prayers, too. ❤

Thank you for sharing . This is my first video of yours I’ve seen and it was just what I was looking for . I’ve not worn a dress for 30 years but last year I brought quite a few and people definitely respond to it even though I have an eating disorder and I’m big..I was longing to dress more feminine because I’d got frumpy during the lockdowns . I was scared to wear a dress because of my size but I just decided if I look frumpy I might as well look frumpy in a dress…but I actually don’t now that I’ve worn them 😀 .
I have also been trying so hard to not swear..my problem is if I say drop something I will mutter a horrible swear word..it’s more of a quick fire reaction and I am trying to replace it with one word that will automatically come out so it will be like a habit..hopefully . How do you try not to quick fire swear ? I’ve looked for videos and actually it’s been all men..you are the first woman I’ve seen mention it .
I’ve 👍🏻🔔 and look forward to watching your other videos . Tracey. 🇬🇧💛🤍

That is wonderful! I think we all got a little complacent in our sweat pants and lounge wear 2020. We are all sinners so what matters is that we are really trying to be better! I’d be flat out lying to you if I said I also did not quick fire swear occasionally - especially if something really hurts! I’m working on it and I pray that the Lord remove that temptation from me. As far as just casually cursing, I’ve finally gotten rid that from my life and it took so much time and patience. I’m so excited that you are here and we can learn together ♥️
