I have a question about an incorrect category on Apple Maps, I have several clients who have the same problem. I went through the process of reporting the issue through my phone, noting it as an incorrect category. Received a notification a couple days later from Apple that they accepted the change, but it's still displaying the incorrect category. I've then added the business into our Apple Business Connect account and have the right category displaying there and the company is verified, but still no change. What else do I need to do?

Hi Steve. A lot of SAB have manged to be listed because they used their home address and were picked up by yelp which feeds into apple maps so they weren't asked to provide any paper work.

The best thing to do is to contact Apple's support team. Keep in mind they might take a while to respond, even if it's something urgent. When you're logged in to Apple Business Connect, just click on your profile picture in the bottom left corner and then select "Support."

Unfortunately did not work for me. USA. DBA. Established cleaning service with employees but without a store front. Registered at my home address. Provided certificate of insurance with my name, company name, address. Declined. Tried again and attached Assumed Name Certificate (also showing my name, company name, address). Declined. So if you do not have a store front, I guess dont bother. Thank you for the video though.

I don't think I'm going to have any luck with this. It keeps changing my address to "Hwy 2" even though in the city where my business is located it is not called that, and I can't upload any documents that will show that same address (postal code will be the same, but not the street name). I've received a verification failure message but it won't let me correct the street name. So frustrating!

Hi there. If you are talking about Google Maps (and not apple maps) Google will use the address you initially entered when verifying your business. Removing it will turn your listing into a business area but Google will use that address to rank your listing. If you use a different address so you can rank in the nearest biggest city, you will need to reverify your listing for the new address and likely asked to provide proof the business exists where you claim it does. Hope this helps
@@rankingacademy They don't need retouching. Just resizing/cropping to match their requirements. I was attempting to upload photos of the product, but the product has text on it because it's a packaging company that does custom branded packaging.

Unfortunately Apple map doesn't cover mobile businesses such as yourself, yet

I've had issues adding photos for a client's listing. They get rejected. I used Canva to create the correct size. Any idea what could be wrong?
Mostly the content of the images. Photos should be about the business. Why do they need retouching?
