How long does it take for verification? My business is still awaiting for it's verification and it's not showing up on Google.
Did you request a postcard or different method?

when you registered if you log back in with the correct google account it should still show the verification method as pending

Takes 14 days and I'm on day 22... This doesn't work and hundreds of others are complaining in the forums also. Is there another way to reach customer service maybe?

Under Manage Business dashboard you will see Verification Required. I choose Postcard. But the postcard never came. Every week, google the address without signing in to your Google account to see if it is already listed. Mine got listed this way. Hahahahaha

When I google a business, it shows on google with all the details and address. It shows the business location on Google maps. But there is no icon floating above it as I search around on maps, exploring etc. if I add it on google maps, will it mess up something?

From my current understanding I believe Google my Business are slow and inundated with account suspensions, but due to a lot of issues Google are slow on any manual approval which may explain the long wait
Quality purpose name or picture they do that tailor your tittle tag never touch the account until you get the mail

So how can you tell how long a business has been on google maps or let’s say what date it was added on maps ?
Some times Google will show the date the business was established or how many years it was around.
But more importantly domain authority - you could look at the Wayback Machine where you can explore more than 656 billion web pages saved over time - that gives a lot away about how long a business has been functioning see: archive.org/

you will need to register with a Google account, but you can use any type of email address to register it. Do you not have an account then?

there is no guarantee what approach they will take as its category and country dependant
but google doesnt send me postcard

how do you show your business is upstairs on the second floor?
How would you address your business for postal delivery?
@@ZanetDesign How do you edit google map so when someone on a cell phone shows up at a location he can see on his cell phone that the business is on the second floor and you have to go upstairs. The signage is not good so if they cannot see a physical sign- they leave.
