    Thank you. That was very helpful and instructive. It had exactly the right difficulty level for me (kinda experienced beginner) and I even learned some more about setting planes that I wasn't aware before. And you did that slow enough for me to follow.

    Great video. I'm just starting out with Fusion, but have a lot of experience with Sketchup. I'm familiar with Sketchup's Followme tool, and this seems similar but much more advanced. My designs are wood projects, and I need ways to do trim boards.

    Hi Justin thank you so much your tutorials they are so valuable. I have a question about how to create rounded rails next to each other so that there are short creases. I looks like the surface you made at 7:41. I can't find anything online about creating creases or creating rounded areas next to each other like the surface you created. I hope you can help. Thank you and best.

    This is really good but how can I follow a path in 2 separate sketches. So in your 6th example I not only want to follow a path on the Y axis but also the z axis as well? I'm trying to model a bike handlebar which twists up and backwards and I don't know how this can be done.

  • @metallicaandchimaira

    How would you do a twist? Im trying to make a christmas ornament but want it to swirl starting 3/4 of the way down and into a point.

    Great video, thank you very much! 👍
    I got a question: I've got a "creative" spline that intersects itself several times, but itself is an open path. I hope that makes sense. And I'm trying to sweep a half circle (or even circle) along that path but without any success. I tried both Solid and Surface, but nothing seems to work. Ideally I'd like to have a half circle to sweep along the path so it's hollow inside. For the profile I'm using a sketch that's a half circle, offset it by 0.5mm and closed at the base - so that the profile is a closed path. I'm getting "The body would intersect itself" errors.
    How would you approach such a sweep? Or is there a different way altogether to achieve this?
    Thank you!

    • @dashaluna2368
      @dashaluna2368 4 года назад

      Ok, I still haven't figured out how to solve this, but I know now how to better phrase (I hope) what I'm trying to do.. What's the approach to sweep along high curvature areas so intersection resolves or "joins" It's similar to this video here ruclips.net/video/3o0qSliF4vs/видео.html but there is just resolves.

    This video confused me. It goes way too fast in certain areas, even if I slowed the video down to .25 speed. You also forget to mention the basics such as pressing the shift key to select multiple lines at the same time or that you were using the 3-point arc tool. This video is very confusing to beginners who are being forced to complete these exact parts in class and can be frustrating. I would not recommend this video.

    • @TheFusionEssentials
      @TheFusionEssentials  3 года назад +4

      If you're having a hard time with basic concepts like this, you really need to be starting with a beginner tutorial like this - ruclips.net/video/h10qk4MnAK0/видео.html - If I covered every single basic concept in every video, we'd never be able to get anywhere.
