I have had teachers that were super picky when it came to essays. I hated it up until I tried College English where the teacher was super cool and helped if I needed it and actually told me that the stuff we were taught in middle/highschool english was bullshit. I have not felt so relieved and yet so angry in a long time.

And technically speaking there's both times when the mutation that made Peter Parker into Spider Man causes him to grow 4 more arms in horrific body horror a la Junji Ito, and also *Spiders* Man... A Spider-verse variant where the spider bit Peter, killing him instantly due to the high level of radiation within the spider, but in turn the spider some how gained his mental capabilities along with Telekenetic control over a hive of spiders that are all working together in a humanoid shape under the Blue and Red suit... *and instead of webs, some of the aforementioned spiders are shot out at criminals which should - the first time that was ever announced to the criminal underworld of New York - cause all crime rates to drop to near 0 because I would fucking shoot myself if I saw that happen to a friend while we were jaywalking*

I get so confused with binge compilations. And it have been MONTHS
2:15 I have a story like this. So we had a project when I was in middle school where we had to pick a character from history, dress up as them, make flash cards of info, read a book about them, and have a tea party with our classmates, I had chosen Marie Curie, female inventor and scientist who discovered radiation in a time where women didn’t do that. I got a book, but it was super long and I had put off reading it until it was too late, I couldn’t cram because a lot of the words in the book i couldn’t understand or didn’t know, like every 2 sentences I was googling something. I was screwed, so I took my notecards and my computer and I went onto Every. Single. Site. I could find, twice, it took like a day and then the rest of it was just memorizing and revising, I felt good. The day of the tea party I was pretty nervous but, I got into character, even changed my vocabulary and voice, and NAILED IT, it was GREAT, super fun project actually. And when we were done the teacher was pretty mad (she was notorious for being a hard grader) she said “I can tell who reads their book, and who doesn’t, and you will be a getting a low grade. (Few people, confusion from me bc they did good and I thought she was talking about the people who didn’t read) Aj (hated being singled out) (1 or 2 others), they read their books.” I stood there like 🤨🕶 🤏 😎
So did you get a good grade or not have had a hard time understanding the end.

The one about the murder novel is that it almost actually exists. There’s a book called “One Of Us Is Lying” where there’s 5 kids in detention and one of them dies. At the end of the book it’s revealed that he gave himself anaphylaxis but I don’t remember the reason he did it but it was on purpose
