From charging full force to the french art crew taking the town center. this is probably the best NTW siege battle I've seen
In the year 1825 the French empire is master of all of Europe from Scotland to Moscow it's emperor Napoleon the second is not only emperor of the French but also emperor of Austria but in that year the Austrians rise up in rebellion the initial fighting started in Silesia in the kingdom of Prussia when the Austrians launch an offensive taking key forts the king Jerome Bonaparte takes personnel command of the offensive with his Prussian troops and the French imperial guard tasked with protecting the members of the Bonaparte dynasty. For those of you who like a backstory

I feel like the French guy just didn't want to follow the trend and gave a big middle finger to everyone else
I don't watch these battles very often as I don't have the time so I usually skip some parts. But this one blew my mind. It looks so fucking good, splendid camera work! I love the beginning of the battle where austrian troops are occupying the hill and the prussian cav charges in to kill the grenzers. Awesome battle!

The Prussian player was unquestionably the most competent commander in this battle. When every attacker lined up near the walls I said to myself it is over, they will charge simultaneously and wipe the Austrians out. You can guess my disappointment of this not happening. It was a pyrrhic victory while It could've been a sharp decisive victory.

Those constant clouds of smoke is what I really love about this game. It's such a dark game.
One of the best battle in total war series
Fun thing is you can still get your troops of wall if the wall is destroyed all you need to do is let some of your other troops throw grapples then your men on top of the wall can climb down the wall and not die
This is the best siege battle since that stainless steel fort battle.

This was an AMAZING battle.
This really reminds me of Ryse Son of Rome when we see that clip where the generals charge in, but only one actually goes through with it causing his death. By this example it'd be the 2 Prussian armies and the 1 French army just watching their Prussian ally charge in and getting surrounded.
I love Napoleon Total War. Such an epic game. I enjoy playing Empire as well.

actually I think the man who commanded the last army which got into the fort did a very good movement. Every single army,allied or not, was very depleted and he had fresh troops to finish the remaining troops

There is such a thing as charging too much. Bayonet charges should happen after the first or second volley of musket fire, even if you are trying to be super aggressive.
Commander: up the rope, up the rope
*gets to top of wall, 1000 Austrians with guns*

I love the battle I just hate how that one Prussia army just played so passive.they could've lost and I really hate when people do stuff like that charge in. like PA say "Get your bayonets wet and bloody".

Have you tried the Napoleonic: Total War 3 Mod? They just released Version 6. Its amazing. Literally over 1000 units, and over 100 Maps.

You were ma first channel and I love the line musket battles.
Apollo if you are tired of the few maps in vanilla napoleon, you should try Napoleonic Total war 3 mod. It has 80+ maps and unique units. The mod recieved an 6.0 update today. Also there are Historical battles, wich are the most accurate battle simulations i have ever seen.

One thing I like to do in siege is have four different country’s like Denmark, Sweden, Austria, The Ottomans against the Russians, so, A total war has broken out in Europe, and only 10 country’s can stand up to their might, Prussia, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, United Netherlands, France, Britain, and another 3 that I forgot about.

Does the ancient empires mod have the ancient Egyptians? If so you should use them.

I think only a few people (like me and you) really like Empire battles. Everyone seems to want either Warhammer or Medieval II, so with this Napoleon battle just now I doubt we will see Empire until a few more videos at least.
Empire is more interesting in my opinion.
Do love these battles but prefer melee battles. Do you do more melee battles of musket ones?

His allies pissed me off, they should went in too! Idiots! They could've all charged through the choke points whilst the French came from behind and took advantage of their almost completely open flank with their elite Old and Young Guards!
Well, the Prussian army was the best during the 1800s and the early 1900s. Most armies were reformed accordingly to the Prussian model including even Japan!!
