Apollo: "No hits there."
*Guy screams in pain*
Apollo: "...Maybe."
lol
@@fatpug1179 didnt he say "or maybe" after that though?
"Why are people arguing over a war?" Well technically a War is just a violent argument in the first place, so it just fits.
Because some people need to take credit for something other people did in the past.
@@Lyraorganum even though this was 5 years ago no. just no. no one needs to take credit for their ancestors mistakes. holding onto petty differences and fighting over the smallest things lead to more wars. im not saying we forget but i say we forgive.

This is a very well known historical battle. James Madison was elected by the Italian electorate to be the President of Italy as well to make Italy great again. However, a large proportion of the Italians were suspicious of Madisons intentions and feared that he would be the next Napoleon, so they invited Great Britain to prevent Madison from taking power. The United States saw this act as a blatant interference of the democratic process by a foreign power and declared war on Great Britain. The armies from the two nations fought in the Tuscany country side for the fate of Italy.

Those horse guards remind me of the British dragoons in the patriot, surprised it wasn't mentioned XD
Thats what I was thinking.
The one led by tarleton
wills trewin probably because the unit in the film was based of British light dragoon’s which prominently used the tarleton it was very fashionable so other regiments wore them especially a unit like the horse guards
maybe because its a dog shit movie
Who would win:
A massive force on a flank
Or
One blue horsey boi
"I didn't volunteer for this?!?! Oh wait, I did..." hahaha haha killed me
That was probably the most exciting NTW battle I've seen in a while. No masses of elite infantry slugging it out for hours and hours, but an actual believable army composition that combined line infantry with militia.
Wow that second US army really through their ally under the bus at the start.
RainbowPig 007 indeed.
Yeah. Those cowards
@@blades9152 I've played this game and my teammates always left me to sacrifice my army but when it came to them I always helped
And in the end failed to hold an easy defense
@@smileplease9771 I think the way he puts it is a more aggressive approach that would be his answer to why he gave up a easier defense
The horse guard is the grail knights of Napoleon
Tuck in your hair with your eyes or your lips
You need a little more than a minute of that to get a milk bath in your way to get city sky out and make it a good time for a new one with a re sale or purchase a lot more expensive or more affordable and affordable for your home to be a great
@@gilamonster5585 bruh some Napoleon haters, if u hate Napoleon then don't reply
@@someone1949 Ya i dont know why they reply they think they can make us napoleon lovers go to their side
Overall a cool battle but I found it odd how the retreating US army, while under constant fire, suffered almost no casualties the whole time running away. Even when they got stuck in the tree line...
That's the NTW3 mod for you
Necroposting :>
Necroposting for sure
Yes, Necroposting
All this necroposting is making me feel old...
This isn't Third age ... what gives ?
Jackie Fish hi
Jackie go back to the depths of darkness you fishy Creature!!
Pixelated Apollo gonosz vagy
They don't all have to be third age....
Jackie is clearly TW's version of Cthulu.
hello random person in the comments have a nice or a fantastic day.

christian lord Uy thank you kind sir
Thanks, you saved us from a supernova with your kindness.
christian lord Thank my good sir and I hope you have a good one too
christian lord Uy ennek mi értelme volt? nem nagyon értettem mert magyar vagyok
christian lord Uy nice comment. Good day or night to you god sir
"It's a dynamic way of making things dynamic." You are a poet, Sir. Truly.
That 2nd US player was waaaaaay too cautious
First 15 minutes and the British wipe out almost half the Americans 😱😰
John Nevin yeah because the other half were cowards
But still lost the battle it's actually funny you lose half your army but with your artillery and remaining soldiers you cause mass casualties on the British Army and make it a dead even fight
@@MegaTamer111 still by the end of the battle a majority of the British forces were breaking and yes at the Americans lost more but didn't they deploy more and loses half the army because the other half was being defensive that's all I'm saying I was trying to start an argument just thought the battle results were funny because the Americans look liked they were gonna lose
Andrew Jackson seeing the British at New Orleans: cash me outside howbow dah
Tadicuslegion78 the British at Orleans: seriously Jackson camping I expected more from you!!
lol!!
I can't stress how amazing this mod is - this has gotten me back into NTW even after 100 hours. If you're a Napoleon fan, you should be giving this mod your attention.
And THIS is the mod we want you to play!!!
(or watch replays of other people, of course)
The War of 1812 happened. End to argument.
People died. End of argument
We weren't there when War of 1812 started. End of argument
Case closed
Afnan Zahran I don't care we won end of argument
Historically, no one won;
it was a stalemate.
General Button
It was a draw, since nothing was changed after the war.
Nobody won, Canadian and British forces burnt the whithouse, Treaty was signed, The end.
From a points game (which we don't know if it is) USA won, from a battle point, I think its safe to say the British defiantly had the upper hand.
They were much too disciplined to an extent that the American militia couldn't stand against them in battle. Tactically, the American infantry won though.
4000 militia stood against 14000 british regulars and won in the battle of new orleans lol
Legio Vl And they weren't even militia, they were mostly volunteers, aka - civilians with guns.
Pretty much but it still proves my point that the soldiers were very much trained not to an extent however most frontiersmen and americans within small towns were trappers and hunters, afterall the U.S and Ruperts land were prime spots for trapping because of the booming fur trade.
Legio Vl Yeah, lawyers, doctors, and businessmen often shot for sport and were used as snipers. The rest were buccaneers, frontiersmen, indians, militia, privateers, slaves, ...etc. They decisively defeated Britain's best soldiers and sailors at that time, which hailed from Britain's most renowned regiments and were seasoned veterans of the Penesula War, apprehended by common everyday Americans. Had Britain taken New Orleans, they would've conquered Louisiana and added it to the British Empire as well as renegotiating the Treaty of Ghent to allow an Indian Buffer state. The Battle of New Orleans was perhaps the most consequential and meaningful battle in the War of 1812 and ended in a resounding American victory.
That battle was so realistic, I really miss those.
i love how back and forth napoleon tw 3 battles can be. this one was epic!!!
Facts first 15 minutes the British destroyed half the US Forces and a simple Town defense and piece of artillery and a few groups of infantry took out almost the entire British force just wow
Maryland Dragoons?! MARYLAND MILITIA?!! Hellz ya! Maryland #1! MARYLAND #1!!REPRESENT
THATS MY BOY!!!
I liked this one Apollo. I felt it was very deep and there were characters and a developing story. at 9:09 I felt like I was in the forest with the scouting party looking for evidence and mysteriously finding none. My favorite of all time was the Crusader siege around Xmas time, that was awesome!
The most beautiful battle so far, Apollo. Very tactical and fun to watch
Very nice battle you have Apollo ! This Napoleonic style battle :O Love it !
What sets you apart from other good TW gamers commentary videos are your close-ups, that makes it great!👍👍👍👍👍
This is the best battle I've seen with Napoleon. Still working my way through them all.
As for the 1812 war.
I believe that the mistake the Americans made was thinking that the Canadians would turn on the Brits. The Canadians were more pissed at the Americans invading their turf than they were with the Brits. The rest is history and should remain their. Always good to have a little something to rib each other about though. Look at us lot and the French, but we will always jump in and give them a hand if and when required.
Apollo you are amazing and I love the games you play. your videos entertains me
ura12394 so true
Andrew Jackson was a badass.
Native American conspiracy theorists.
Mind Blown.
Hell yeah I am....what do you mean you're talking about the president?
Logan Hansford it's kind of because of all the terrible genocide shit he did to the natives
There's a difference between badass and batshit insane. Bad President, worse person, A+ for beating the shit out of would be assassins with a cane though.
Besides when he systematically killed my ancestors....
Would like to see the Battle of New Orleans during the War of 1812, but that would be a map with lots of creeks and canals.
Such a very cool time period the war of 1812 and the general 1800s soldiers wore amazing fancy uniforms and didn't care to get blood on their cloths This new faction is cool asf
The unit hiding in the house the whole times is taking my last nerve!!!
Whats up apollo nice video and strategic and i am you Brazilian fan :D
Thanks man :D
Blues and royals walk round the corner, horse rangers run😂😂😂🤣🤣
Damn I haven't watched apolo in forever
get out. lol
This Is my favorite video on RUclips because of the strategy of the battle so I’m re-creating this battle in LEGO. Very good video Apollo
The L2 and L1 and stuff is the tier ranking of the infantry. L means line, and 1 means militia. I believe 2 means trained, and 3 means veteran. Not sure. I haven't played in a while.
I was actually in that unit 1-22 INF they were in the War of 1812 to Iraq. They got disbanded in 2014.
There's actually a unmovable unit called a command post available for every faction that players are supposed to spawn on the stars that can get capped
''heeey whats up guys thanx for stopping by'' my favorite part by far
jacob brown was the first commanding general of the us army who was part of the niagara region campaign of 1814
I could watch these battles all day every day. Never gets old. Thanks Mr. Apollo
awsome vid Pixie, definately need more objective/"king of the hill" gameplay. side note: Id love to see some historical battles. maybe a "Can we change history?" series
Horse Guards think they're Demigryph Knights.
PitLord777 they are
It'd be cool if apollo did some total war 3 series of the revolutionary war and would upload some of the major battles throughout the revolutionary war.. think it'd be interesting to see..
I'd like too see the Battle of Yorktown the French and Americans
2:44 Say that to my face, not online
In Napoleon total war, general is mandatory but you can remove it actually.
Just right click, and there you go.
But make sure the unit that you wanted to be the "general" is next to the removed general
I like Andrew Jackson because.... he was a badass
Everyone stop arguing about the war of 1812, we all know that Britain won!
You should do the Alamo
I loved this video, thanks for uploading them kind sir!
Wow let me point out that the tune being played at 15:20 is actually a spanish marching song I could barely believe my ears when I heard it the song is called orden y retrata look it up
War of 1812 baby nice vid Pixie :D
All of PAs videos start with legendary or epic.
Steven M.
Lol
"Epic siege of Umbar"
Or they start with "Great", "Battle" or (Insert Warrior/Nation here).
I just wonder what is the most epic or legendary.
Steven M. Legendary and epic comment
That result was just like the war of 1812... A bloody and Pointless draw.
Pixie, which is harder: Words or making a title without "Epic" in it?
Very good :)
The sound in this mod is amazing
DO MORE LIFE OF A SOLDIER!!!!
what I got from this battle, horse guards are so fucking OP
Fun fact: “the blues” is a Royal guard Dragoon cavalry Regiment. The full name is “The Royal Horse Guards”
I think that is one if the best Napoleonic War 3 battle I ever seen
awesome battle, love the vids when people know how to play
What happened to the gun powder smoke clouds?
I would love to see a Great War mod battle doing the Battle of Belleau wood and have the U.S Marines show up like halfway through to aid the British and play out the famous battle in the forests that earned the Marines the famously supposed
title or "Teufel hunden" or "Devil Dogs". I think it would be cool because that was some of the only really famous battle the U.S was involved in WW1. The British did the most of the fighting.
TW Napoleon is a lot more interesting than 3rd age, in my opinion. Glad to see a lot of it, and it really makes me think about what a TW WW1 could be like.
Thanks Apollo!
The 92nd Gordon highlanders were my local regiment based in the aberdenshire area of Scotland, till they sadly got disbanded in 1994 because of defence cuts
Being a Marylander, I loved all the Maryland troops
troops look like they're running in slow-mo underwater...
Might be Georgia... Plantations and farms everywhere. Love the commentary Apollo.
The entire Great Lakes region is still salty about it, US and Canada
+Stephen M. Stouter no?
Stephen M. Stouter But the Great Lakes are freshwater
There are a lot of salt mines in them tho
Jeb! - how do you know? Maybe we should throw you in and find out.
Infinity Extreme I live near the great lakes we have salt mines there
I fucking love Andrew Jackson, a shame he’s not on the $20 bill anymore.
1:50 yes he is real ... I live in BROWNSville TX.. used to be Fort Jacob Brown
Apollo! Dude this game should have elite Pennsylvania militia! I mean the pa’s were elite!
2:28 Me from Maryland: bruh you really gonna say Mary Land???
Total war 3 mod makes these battles so much better!!!
I agree the War of 1812 was a stalemate, it's just a interesting and fun part of early American history. Let's not bicker and argue over who killed who, and who burned who. This suppose to be happy comment section! ;)
AND THEN THE WINGED HUSSARS CHARGE!............
ah shit wrong video
That was pretty shrewd, on the British team's part, gambling that the US scouts wouldn't realise their armies had combined until it was too late and their single assault punched through the American left. It's a shame they didn't quite follow it up fast enough.
Not just third age all the time I needed these
Pixilated Apollo said Andrew Jackson was on the us 20 bill but he is still on it. They never changed anything.
The horse guard are so insanely bad ass in this battle.
a dynamic way of making it more dynamic LoL
Jackson also won the battle of new Orleans, he eliminated the national debt and gave America a net positive the only one president to do so, and was the first outsider to be elected in to the white house at the time to and did great things for America so don't blame him for his faults.
Yes, just ignore all the terrible things he did and praise him like he's the second coming of Christ.
TrinityAssassinZ Yes, just ignore all the good things, and pretend he is the Anticrhist
He also directly led to the death of hundreds of thousands of Native Americans, directly violated the constitution by over-stepping the supreme court and ignoring their ruling in Georgia, he fired hundreds of government employees only to staff them with unmerited loyalists, and rounded up critical journalists.
If the United States had ever had a tyrant elected, it was Jackson. But that's ok because the government owed less money (at the expense of the people).
Vincent Celeste Did you know that John Quincy Adams most likely conspired against him the election before he won.
You contradicted yourself in your own sentence bud.
Man. Maryland took some goddamn names today...
I'm assuming the balance of power bar is totally screwed in this mod?
Also, Jackson did so much more than force-march some Indians, he was one of our greatest presidents and generals, but of course everyone nowadays focuses on the one bad thing he did.
+Stephen M. Stouter only president to pay off the national debt
He engaged the British, Seminoles, Spain, Red Sticks(Creeks) in battle with outnumbered Tennessee volunteers, and was never defeated.
Stephen M. Stouter agreed
***** Battle of Pensacola.
Andrew Jackson engaged British, Creek, and Spanish defenses and captured the first heavily fortified fort instantly with no artillery. After that, the second fort was completely abandoned by the British and Spanish who fled in a hurry with their four ships and 68 guns from the advancing Americans.
Calvin Coolidge did as well.
Let's get stuck into them lads charge. A 4 year war that ended in 1815 called the war of 1812
God save King George III
God bless President Jackson
This reminds me of General Washington's retreat from New York after the disaster on Long Island.
I watch these videos. And it feels like a sports show lol
NTW still looks good after all these years.
Maryland dragoons? Oh yeah BOIS CRABBIES REPRESENT
WoW did not think us would win very very good battle
Protect the king😲!!!!!!!💂💂💂💂👑💂💂💂💂
Great vid!
Keep doing this Apollo!
Basic number crunching for anyone wondering
4,253 US soldiers deployed. 2,587 US soldiers killed. 1,666 US soldiers remained. (39.2% remained)
2,805 British soldiers deployed. 1,912 British soldiers killed. 893 British soldiers remained. (35.6% remained)
All in all, while this would likely be considered a defeat for the British forces, it would not be a decisive victory for the Americans either. With 60% of their army gone, it would be unlikely that they'd be able to advance without reinforcing the army. And due to the much smaller nature of the British army to begin with, the losses taken by the Americans during this battle would dissuade future endeavors before reinforcements arrive- for both sides.
Well that horse guard is op af
your an amazing guy and DAM your just amazing i watch ur vids almost every day
