I love the variation with the general units. Napoleon and Alexander just had one guy with them, Picton had a line infantry unit, one French general had mounted old guard and the Austrian general had a huge ~150 strong heavy cavalry unit.
Just WOW....I'm speechless, that french guy was absurd. I mean the way he turned the game around by himself it was just epic. Great game..very great, thanks Apollo.
That French right flank around 18:30 is why it is critically important to keep reserves and not just make one giant line Not only does it help you plug gaps and reinforce areas that need it, you can also use reserves to help make a break through or support areas that you're winning.
Napoleonic battles are probably my favorite on your channel, and i love to come over here when im bored or depressed and just watch some of the battles, thanks for making them!

General Pixie-This was an amazing battle had it all cavalry charges, Russian bayonets, and French muskets. By far my favorite content on your channel (+ juicy 1212 sieges of Justice)
I arrive early and I do not know what to say xD Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe :V Ingredients: 200g softened butter 300g soft brown sugar 2 tsp vanilla extract 2 eggs 300g self raising flour 80g cocoa powder 1 tsp baking powder 300g choc chips Method: 1.preheat oven to 180 c/ gas 4 2.cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then beat in vanilla extract and eggs 3.in a separate bowl sift flour, cocoa and baking powder together 4.add flour mix to the creamed mix in stages( a third at a time) mix well. fold in choc chips until just combined. 5.spoon a tablespoon of the mixture on to a baking tray and just let it drop off the spoon, repeat until you have used up all the cookie mixture. 6.bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes, when you remove the cookies from the oven they will still be soft, leave to cool completely on the baking tray, where they will continue to cook slightly,when completely cold move to a cooling rack. then enjoy :D Great video Pixie! xD
I remember watching a tv show in the uk, it was a holographic table with armies on both sides,you had like 6 people per team and each person had their own duties to perform..the battles went on for hours and i really loved it,now we all can have those insane military strategy games......

I'm a history fanatic exactly like you, can't shut up about historical events if anyone mention something the slightest about it lol. And NAPOLEON did not lose, his naive, ignorant officers did. He did one mistake, Russia, nothing else. Wow I did it again.. What I mean is, Your awesome and I fking love all your videos. Mainly Napoleonic and Roman times, and ofc the medieval ones !! Inside The Dog-World I would say that Russia wasn't a mistake. All the bad things that went wrong for him happened after he divorced Josephine for a political marriage with that Austrian Bitch.
Strontium 19 and yea. I'd say Russia was a mistake. He lost his majority of the army and the Coalition saw that and grouped up and decided to attack which led to Elba. There is some other minor mistakes but i wouldn't say that they were worse than Russia.
I didn't always like the Napoleon Total War ones with muskets and what not, but as I started watching and kept watching they grew on me and I love them now! Keep up the great content man!! PS Middle Earth will always be my favorite content xD
That was epic. At 16:37, that was epic charge. But I love how the french managed to turn it around and win both with battlefield control and points. The french did really well, thought they would lose actually. And the front line was funny, it went a full 180. I didn't like how the coalition can win by raw points when IRL they would of lose even if they captured two buildings. The buildings does make it more dynamic but having it so spread out at the edges makes it feel very cheesy. Also what is the theme you used for the epic moments?
If there is a NTW 3, why can't there be a ETW 3 ;) Or system (graphics/mechanics) of play like Rome 2, Attila, etc for Napoleon or Empire. I would love for the creators/moders to continue this realism movement in total war. Lets get to the detail of smaller things like seeing & hearing commanders/officers give orders (including the steps to fire a volley ex. pace forward, present, fire!) Multiple flags on the battlefield per regiments like seen in the film The Patriot. Better wind sway on the battlefield for these flags. Heck maybe a unit may run out of ammo and has to resupply back at camp position or bring up supply wagons. This mod here is definitely in the right direction. Hope to see more of this!

You didnt notice how Alexander killed Napoleon off in the background at 52:31? if you pause you can see 2 dead horses and the 2 remaining gernerals. And the Emperor units usualy only have 2 in them.
I love this video simply because of how randoms took on a clan and managed to form the coolest line battle near the end. Edit: Wrong vid but still a great one nevertheless
