Yes, it dose create a rougher surface wich could be more prone to caries. Thats why you polish with silicone burs to finalize. Also the shaped area lies within the habitual clean and usually well brushed area of the paitents tooth.
Usually it's just the healing collar getting loose from the gum shrinking during healing so that would need to be changed for proper socket size. Now if your having sharp pain and swelling then that's when the actual implant will become loose signaling implant failure.
If this filling fails, are you able to restore it, or will the patient need a root canal. Assume there is minimal to none decay in the affected surface
late answer, but im a dentist. Depends entirely on why it failed. If another infection appears, it may need a root canal if the infection is deep, it may not need one. If it just falls out, then they can normally just be restored.
Just got this done yesterday. Thank you for sharing
Just had this done to me, it is fascinating what it looks like from the out side
Doesn’t the shaping and polishing drill shown at (1:58) destroy enamel/tooth?

Can a molar teeth be implanted pls let me know
Any tooth can be implanted as long as enough bone structure is there ❤
Like previous reply stated, yes any tooth can be replaced by implant if adequate bone structure and space between adjacent and opposing teeth.
Today my tooth 🦷 get broken I wish I can fix it with this way but like usual I don't have enough money 😢
