I have always understood those type of showers work best like a Marine shower. You get wet, turn it off, soap up, rinse off. That way you can use it multiple times, or have multiple people use it.

You could also designate one for non-potable water. You use the sun to heat it up, then it takes less fuel to boil it since it is already hot from the sun.
