Used one for about 2 years & it is showing its age. Like a lot of this stuff made in China they _seem_ to build in little "time bomb" faults that mean your shower is not going to be with you for the duration. Being tight I've extend the life of it with ad hoc repairs. Noticeably more robust & better made than the black ones which seem to last for about 3 minutes! Works really well even in an English summer! Good tip is not to over fill them as this puts strain on the unit. 👍
Have 1 of these showers about 2 years. The thread on cap messed up and will longer stay on (Threads Stripped) making it impossible to lay down. ( It is also difficult to fill a full 5 gal without water running out. Needs better filler spout design with better threads. Also with all of these type of showers you need a high tree limb and rope to get it up high enough to shower standing up. There are some better options out there.
It's too heavy for our popup privacy tent. Ours doesn't have rods at the top so filling it more than half way brings the middle down😕 Maybe we'll move the tent closer to a tree and hang it from a tree and just have to spout & nozzle through the little window.
I got the camplux enjoy outdoor life. Waterheater plus I got the pump .and 2 plastic containers each one 20 litter. You're going to love it.after a long hike. Taking a shower in the middle of nowhere.
