I have had a bedrug in my 2012 F150 since I bought it brand new. I originally bought it because my daughters and their friends liked to ride in the back of my truck while camping. I will get a bedrug in my next truck too
@@Michael_M991 the Powerboost certainly has some punch at the low end but I almost say the Powerboost feels more like a sport truck than a truck truck. What the diesel lacks in that initial kick, it makes up for in plenty of torque and sound that is unmatched by the Powerboost. The visceral feeling of the 3.0 surpasses the spec sheet numbers of the Ford. Of course this is a subjective opinion.
@@GearsGadgets diesels always have the cool turbo noises for sure, but the Powerboost just feels way quicker and it's always nice to have the power. I drove a loaded Silverado recently with the same 3.0 Duramax and it felt so slow in comparison. The GMC is nice though
@@bodieb316 not enough to trade in the Ford just yet lol I want a good turbo gasoline option before I’d consider it. Duramax is cool but I’m a little unsure buying a Diesel in 2024.
@@dlosh8613 not really, that is mostly getting in from the negative pressure / swirling air at the back of the truck getting in around the tailgate area. You would want to buy some seals for the tailgate to fix that.
Flashback 😂! I think I’ll pass on putting a fan in my garage ceiling just I’m sure I would be banging into a lot! I’ll just keep using my standing fan to blow the warm around 😢
HAHA it was certainly a decision made out of desperation for me with the heat in this Arizona garage. It doesn't really make any difference once the temps get above 95ish. A mini-split might be on my agenda this winter.
@@GearsGadgets Ever since you mentioned about a mini split I’ve been thinking of how I could put one in my garage. It’s like you stated, once it gets above 95 here in AZ the garage becomes a giant “easy bake oven”! 🥵
Just curious. I will be moving to Las Vegas and will having to be doing some driving to AZ, ~ 215 miles . Would you recommend the 18" or 20" ? What dealer would you recommend to purchase from?
dont bother with the pan its a pain in the ass and i did it on a lift. Im local to you. i have the PPE pan and trans pan if you want to see it. i have a 22 LM2. Got 31mpg a few days ago driving from Attica to West Seneca down Bullis. These trucks love going 45-55mph for mileage.
@@GearsGadgetsI think it’s pretty universal for the first oil change to be free of charge in our trucks “GMC Sierra!” I’d imagine this is true for all new GM vehicles.
@@dopeboyp3487 sure is if you want to have someone else wrench on your vehicle. Personally I don’t believe in taking my truck to another man to have him change my oil even if it’s free.
@@GearsGadgets I can respect that. But considering what we’re paying for trucks today, I want every freebie available to me. Just got my “complementary” oil transfusion about 2 weeks ago, and put the cash I saved towards a full tank of diesel. You look very happy with this truck. I am happy that you are happy. 😊

Thinking about doing just the mat on my truck. They really help on the old knees.
You need something called a LastBoks for the back. Best thing I ever bought for my truck. A little pricey for what it is, but well worth it.
Started watching your channel for the Ford videos. Love the channel & the new truck! Great content
Looks good! Great addition to the truck! Thanks for sharing...stay safe out there!!😎👍🤙👍🤙🇨🇦
I like that bed rug... things sliding is the biggest issue I have.
i highly recommend the Ronin Easy Oil plug. lot less messy
Bedrugs are the best! These GMC trucks are growing on me now. But the 3.0 for me just lacks the grunt of my PowerBoost.

Does that rug do a good job with keeping the dust out of the box? Mainly from dirt roads..

You betcha it does I literally put this bed rug in every truck that I’ve owned. I drive a lot of gravel road and I never get any dust in the box.

An oil change on a brand new truck at 700 miles? this don't sound right
