Uh, yes it is. Peter Criss could barely play in the 1970's. It is well documented that KISS had to bring in studio musicians for parts Peter was just not able to play, period. Also, I attended plenty of dates in the tri-state area in 1996-1999 and saw first hand from twenty feet away that Peter Criss could barely even keep time.
