In my 28 years of Phishdom I have always looked for that 2nd jam band that I could jam out too..Over the years I have found a few, Moe and PG to name a couple, but none that did it to me like Phish did...Until I heard these guys! They are pure magic and it is a pleasure and a absolute joy to listen to them...Well done Goose, well done...See you on the road ✌️
Who’s PG?
zach Fomby, Perpetual Groove = PG
If you like them look up a band called pigeons playing ping pong
Once you get it, you don’t forget it!
I agree
My teacher Mr. Follman plays your music in class. It's very soothing 👍. Keep up the good work!
Mr. Follman loves dabs. Tell everyone at school
Randy Hospodar 😂😂😂
@@randyhospodar8864 Don't be gettin the cool teacher fired man, wtf?

Not all heroes wear capes.
They have a song called Yeti. That makes me happy.
Amazing show! One of the best I've watched from Goose! I can't wait til the day I can see them live, hopefully soon now!
Over a Year later and I still come back to this video, This is the show that got me and 2 of my good friends really into Goose! Thank You Goose!
Same. Hate myself for discovering them just barely a couple months after this show… and it was only right down the road from me too. Give me a time machine puhlease. 😩
This show was such a heater! Glad I got to be there!
Some of these peaks have that Devine spark going on.
That “Jerry Garcia wink” thing if you know what I mean.
I can’t really describe it in words and I think that’s a good thing. You just made me cry in my car on the way to Costco.
Well done boys. Well done.
UM NO. THIS GARBAGE HAS ZERO IN COMMON W GARCIA..WTF U TALKING ABOUT?
Pinto on a roll
i agree!
guy woodhouse Why do you think it’s garbage?
For example the jam on “lead the way” that starts around 1:06:00. Follow it carefully from there back to the chorus. It’s got that sit on the hillside at a festival watching the sunset - psychedelic bliss thing going on. It’s in “that space” of you know what I mean. I absolutely live for those moments and I think it’s safe to say - these guys get it.
Yessss loved this so much live ❤️❤️❤️
saw goose last weekend for the first time! been following and watching all the video here for the last 18 months! The pool party show blew me away!!!!!
Flying high right now. The boys just took me across the universe. And I'm finally back and wow just wow
We laughed and we cried and everything in between and everything around.
Awesome show from the mighty Goose! Thanks for posting this fellas. Excited to see you in Syracuse.
I'll be there
Love the W.S. Wolcott cover!! That's certainly one you don't hear everyday
thought the exact same thing but they sure pulled it off.
I have a whole new respect for this song after hearing this version. The jam in it is like a 6'6" pimp in a fuzzy purple suit... just STRUTTING down Shakedown Street.
The Wysteria opener is the definition of "coming in hot"
Thank you!!!! Cant wait for goosemas
Man.... I keep coming back to this video! Can't get enough. It's SO GOOD!
Thank you Goose for rocking so amazingly, like you do! Please oh please come on down to Norfolk, Virginia and do a show at The NORVA. I've already turned more than a dozen people on to you guyz, and they'll keep it going, like I... Goose at the NORVA please.
These guys are tremendous....Plain and simple!
My youngest said "I thought all those jam bands you like couldn't sing. This sounds good!"
Young people are Conditioned to believe that being "Able To Sing" involves applying tons of Auto Tune. Sad.
@@sideshowbob Don't kid yourself, plenty of jam bands really can't sing well 🤪
Lmao, yes they do!
Listen to December by Trey Anastasia and Page. Just released if he thinks jam bands can’t sing well
So true, give that kid a gold star! Rick's vocals elevate this band to the next level.
Every little thing is an all time jam! This bands covers are so good.
Their cover game is definitely on point.
I love re watching this set, it's the first one I ever saw, and it's a slammer
Beautiful!
These guys are fire...I heard of them but haven't given them a listen yet, until this week. Should not have slept on them!!
Love these guys, such a groove!!
Set 2 is so good. IF we weren't doing what we are doing, id be seeing this band live asap
I love the fan commentary that accompanies this recording.

White Lights is my new jam! ✌❤
This was a seriously sick set!! Good for Goose!!

Looks like everyone had a great time. Nice job on DITM! All the best to you guys.
Keep doin yo thang, fellas ... it’s what the world needs ❤️
Thank you Goose.
holy rice these dudes are fun. WSW Med Show?!?!?! Wow. Thanks for sharing this w/ the masses. 2 Thumbs up to sound/lights/video crew.
Beautiful encore ☮️💟
Love the Police cover at 1:50:30
The vocals are really cool.
What a night, Goose on fire!
Goose always bringing the fire! Cohesive and tight, you cats are the bee's knee's! My hat is tipped to you.
Right I cant get enough, I listen to alot of jam and these guys are something special, and I don't usually fan boy on bands, but these guys are fucking good,I mean really good, and only getting better there shows are selling out and soon I predict they will be a strong presence on the festival circuit, super excited these dude's deserve big success. Props to you goose, much respect and love keep killing it brothers, and stay true.
@@secretbase7473 been listening to jam bands since i was a youngin'..saw 32 Dead shows from '88-'90. Rat Dog, Further, a bag full of Phish shows. I have seen all the Dead tribute bands, JRAD, DSO and the like. There is something about these cat's. Their energy is infectious, the peaks are goose bumpy. i truly need to see them live.
That medicine show jam is one for the books. Absolute mad lads!
Hooked on this band rn can’t wait to see em in March
Hey Goose, you make it hard to listen to anything else...
Thank you, have fun out west and blow the Stone Pony down when you get there!
we need goose here in Baltimore, they are something sepecial for sure.
These fellas have talent!!!
That medicine jam is so refreshing
Even in my small town in WV I’ve talked to strangers about discovering this band...
the Flock is Growing...
Still one of my favorite Goose shows
Don't ever change! Also, you guys need to do a show in Washington, DC! The Anthem is calling...
Take it from me…. Richmond gets downnnn. Miss it so much. ❤️
The vocal run at 04:16 is perfect
Best band in years right here. Give it up for the Gaggle!
Change my mind. This is THE BEST Goose show on RUclips currently! Love it Goosey! PS: Please release the Into the Myst from this show on spotify sometime :)
Agreed on all accounts. Maybe the goat ITM
My second fav. I love the new Kansas City 11/17 one. Def one of my all times favs. Vasudo at Lockn was absolutely epic though. Wish they did more with Matt
I've gotta see these guys
Such an incredible show played at the Broadberry! That is a small place and I'm kicking myself for just finding out about them and not making it to this! No worries, I'll being seeing them at the Mothership for Goosemas this year!
How have I not heard of this band before now?? You would think they would get some airplay on JamOn-XM but not so much.
You might to look up The String Cheese Incident..these bands could be clones..awesome
I think they sound much more Umphreys McGee-ish than Cheesy
Can't believe I missed this, live in Staunton, very close by
... Maybe next time friends
They have my vote for becoming the next big jam band.
Hope to meet you in Mexico with the Dead! Y'all are bad ass. I hope you show up to the drum circles on the beach! Peace.
Into The Myst
Gawd damn I cant wait to hear that live at MSG at some point. That song is a fucking blow the venues roof off at its height. Well done.
27:35 JEEEESUS Christ rich, that part of that jam gives me chills every time
No doubt!
I can't wait for these guys to rock the garden in few years. They very well may be the next phish. Fuckin incredible
They’re putting out some really great songs. More playing together is going to help their dynamics. Just need a bit more seasoning on the tension and release. But , man I’m a fan!!
Long time since ‘91 phish phan
@@treyphish yeah iv gotten some strong vibes from the jams at twiddle before. but i caught another goose show a few weeks ago and there is some serious power here. there extremely talented and know there shit. but i do wish they would like you said build that tension a bit before going for the big moves. that was my problem at the my first shows the other year. im a terrible dancer so i need a good build and release to get into it. but regardless the recent shows were steller
THIS COMMENT
almost there
@@treyphish It says you made this comment 1 year ago. It is now 2023 and the band is soooooo fucking tight. I love going back to these older shows, but everything they've done so far this year in 2023 is on another level. Transcending into some sort of otherwordly musical stratosphere
these guys are just fucking great! please come to mn and visit soon.
“Into The Myst” is easily my favorite song. Gents, you need to put out another vid with this one in it. I understand the other songs are popular but... 🤷♂️
this is nice
Come to MN please!!
This is niceeeeeee
This set is transcendent!
Trying to catch them in Chicago next month
first time listening to these guys tonight...........sounds fucking good to me!!!
same here man!
You've only scratched the surface, dive all the way down the rABbit hole and bless your soul with the love of goose baby, you wont be disappointed they are straight fire and so cohesive, it's a delight for the senses your welcome.
@@secretbase7473 any recommendations?
Check out The String Cheese Incident..they sound almost exactly alike..awesome
Never really thought I’d like auto-tune/auto-harmonize. Goose uses it quite well, adds a cool touch in select spots. Well done!
This is incredible. You guys need to get a live album up on the streaming services.
Bandcamp has tons
Tons on nugs too
Goose rocks ! As good as many other jam band I've seen in the past ! Come to cincy !
:) nice, thank you ,
Ladies and Gentleman...the best new jam band
Carole: "Take me to bed or lose me forever."
Goose: "Show me the way home, honey."
Yee yeeeeeeeeeee
Suds blew off my beer during Wisteria!
Not sure if this was intended but at 1:44:45 it sounds like there is a tease of White Apple Tree's "Youth II" and it absolutely rocks
I know this a few months later because I just started on the internet, but I saw goose at the belly up in Encinitas Cal. Around six months ago B.C.
damn that's good!
These guys are going to rise very quickly in the jam scene. They have a sound and chemistry that sets them apart from many, many of their peers. Even their songwriting shows promise--it still leans a bit to the silly/dorky space Phish once mastered and way TOO many bands try to replicate. You hear some indie, funk, some EDM, some 'grass, alot of Phish, and even a splash of pop (not necessarily a bad thing unless they veer too much to the Moon Taxi vibe [I don't see this as likely with their tasteful and interesting jamming]).
And a load of String Cheese Incident
Being from Nashville it kills me how good early moontaxi was, signed with universal been downhill since
@@jetr61 Long time Moon Taxi fan and I agree. As someone who listens to a lot of indie rock/non-jam stuff, they struck a great balance for a while, but as of a few years ago the jam side has been mostly non-existent. It's been rare that they bust it out, but at special shows they still have 15-min jams and they still got it, if only they'd use it...
@@alexhamilton8000 It's funny you say that. My wife loves Moon Taxi, and most of their stuff just kinda rolls over me without making much of an impression. They're talented and nice to listen to when we're driving around, but I haven't heard much that really caught my attention, even when we saw them in Chattanooga a few years ago. She and I went to another Moon Taxi show back in February, and I don't know what song they played, but it was a long extended jam and really good. I was thinking, where has THAT stuff been this whole time? Why don't they do more of that?
I get what you're saying about the silly/dorky space, but I've noticed that when bands steer clear of that, some of them also forget how to open their songs up and jam. They just end up with short, boring, mid-tempo, bland-rock songs.
Opening for Umph at Red rocks. CANT FUCKING WAIT
God damn that Walcotts medicine show is nice
We are need of some MIdwest Love. Goose-Me!
Sold out in indy already and ill be in town during the show!
Them and umphreys NEED a tour
I feel like it's inevitable
You mean like Red Rocks in June🤘😎
YES PLEASE
rather see a spafford and goose tour
Loving Goose, but UM rules!
Check that... the band Is refreshing
I'm gonna start calling ya'll "the boys" now.
This is a serious moment.
Indeed lol
@@OddWoz You know things are serious when you call em "the boys"
LONG LIVE GOOSE! LONG LIVE EVERYONE I KNOW!
1:19:38 set break
Can somebody please time stamp this?
I think Peter sounds better with the PRS' humbuckers. Prob because he has his volume set at a wimpy "3" on his 22-Watt Fender deluxe.
Nothing but love for Peter but it breaks my heart to see a Prince of Tone running into a reissue Deluxe with the volume set at "3"....seems like a waste of a $1,000 OD (I've been on the wait-list for several years now).....somebody join the conversation....These are just thoughts and I'd love to hear yours!
2021 UK Please
idk where goose came from but they are tearing the jam scene up
Connecticut mostly (I think). I grew up with the drummer near Boston, MA. He went to Berkeley school of music. Not sure bout the rest of the band... probably lol
lol.. Connecticut...
Watch peach fest set
Norwalk, CT is home base. City of my birth.
TIL that Yonder Mountain String Band didn't write 'Dancing in the Moonlight' ....yeah I'm a n00b so what. Yonder's version is dope though!
If it’s not the peach fest show, then it’s this one. This second set is just magic.
Agree. Peachfest and RVA are the shows I keep coming back to. I hope they spark some more magic when live shows resume.
@@vanhuber Live music will have never tasted so good. Lucky to have scored tix to 2nd night in New Haven. Cannot wait!!!
@@jdn2690 Nice! Enjoy. Thought about going to the MD drive-in show, but I'm going to wait for a post-vaccine show.
Their entire last tour blew everything and everyone else away....excluding '90s Phish, of course!
New to me...they jam!! Have or will they play at Lockn?
on the schedule for Oct I think @Captain Enrique
dead phish biscuits?
im in
Where's Butter Rum??
I want goose to cover phish songs, and phish to cover goose songs. Im so conflicted
