Saw them 2 days ago at the Railbird Music Festival and people were shaking their heads after the show - like what the fuck was that ???! The most amazing show I've seen in years. People were blown away . It was such a cool experience watching new listeners get baptized to the Goose
Had to change up the lighting rig due to a smaller stage. They have really been stretching out some songs this tour too! This song could have easily went into another sick cover of eminence front but the extended jam will do just fine. On a side note Peter and my dad have two things in common……clothing style and dance moves
The transition out of the traditional slow ready into this groove towards the end was absolute butter. Then this groove is just so damn good, what an epic slow ready.
I've been around the scene since about 2003. Even in just over 20 years the evolution has been so interesting. From moe.'ish guitar lead bands to the uprising of Jamtronica, to straight DJs and EDM mixing into the scene, to now going back to its roots as bands like Goose and Billy Strings are leading the pack. It takes me back to circa 2007 when Umphrey's, STS9, Yonder, Biscuits, and Cornmeal were reinventing the wheel and mixing in their unique sounds. I love that the new kids have some great bands to follow! Goose kids reminds me of when UM was coming up. So much love!
just discovered this band and im amazed. i toured in post hardcore bands for a decade but really wish I spent my time making real music like these guys lol
They should have a warning label around 13 minutes, "may be dangerous to operate a motor vehicle or walk across a busy street while listening to this jam". I was just in the grocery store with earbuds in and it got to the 13 minute mark and I started dancing in the aisle without even realizing it. 😂
Bass and vocals are the highlight of this song, so good. To be nitpicky, I wish some of the choppy / Phishy guitar would be prettier as it takes a lot away the emotional depth in the early parts of this tune. The guitar solos and builds are great, but the unneeded chop while singing makes it sound generic and unfinished. Does anyone else hear what I do there? It's still one of my new favorite tunes. It's hard to get me off UM, Bisco, Lotus, STS9, and Tauk train to even try new bands. Goose is doing it though, even more with songs like this.
i really love how all of BGT/BGSS we calling eminence from the start of the breakdown. set break music teaser but we could taste eminence vibes. please break it out. send me the bill for the cost.
I like the view on using “autotune” as an effect, but I just can’t stand that sound. It’s my only complaint about Goose. Saw them on New Years Eve…blew me away…and we already have tickets to two more shows this year, but that autotune…I’m sorry…it’s just an awful sound to me.
Me too!! May sound petty but their use of autotune really bothers me. It adds nothing to the performance and in my opinion actually has the opposite effect. Maybe I’ve simply heard way too many bad pop songs with autotune in the mix? As you said, “it’s just an awful sound.”
Wow, amazing how he held his finger down on one key the entire time and everyone else played random notes and the cuties ate that shit up. What an awful fuckin band.
This is generational music, lucky to be here for it
So much depth to that groove at the end. I can’t get enough of these guys!
They took this already amazing song to a whole other level, highlight of the show for me
I prefer this rendition of the song, it makes more sense to me
I kept thinking they were gonna go into Eminence Front when they started the groove
Heavy eminence front vibes
I could listen to those guitar solos for eternity

yes! I was thinking the same thing --- about eminence front, not your dad/peter 🙂
Another superb set from this very innovative band who play very well together.I hope they will play some gigs in Europe in the future!!
you got your wish, they are coming over this fall!
I love Peter during the jam. He just presses a button for the synth arpeggio and does a little dancey dance for the rest of the song.
Love the mix,Trevor's bass sounds phenomenal
I love this community, this band I love everyone one you ready this!!!(: thank you for helping get second chance at life for reals!!!!! NFA
#TeamSlowReady love this song. 15 mins in Big T making things super funky. I want this song at every show I see.
This is my favorite thing right now.
Stunning!
What an amazing rendition of this song. They are getting better and better, and they are already the top jam band right now!
The transition out of the traditional slow ready into this groove towards the end was absolute butter. Then this groove is just so damn good, what an epic slow ready.
100%
Thank you Goose. My favorite song and jam in my favorite place in the world. GO DAWGS AND GO GOOSE
Wow! Thanks for all the great videos. I'm SuperGlued to the All-Goose Network forever!

Watching the evolution of " jam bands " is absolutely amazing ❤❤

Wow. Just wow
I've recently have been turned on to Goose. I never liked Connecticut. I do now. Remarkable quintet. Welcome to the jam side.
Easily the best show I’ve seen at Georgia theatre
How did I miss this show? And that fat WAPping nasty bass. Yeow, Trevor, boom.
Absolutely love this Slow Ready! Big fan 🪭
Can't get enough of this ending jam. Need more of it!
I'm loving these Pink Floyd-ish jams
If Tribe and Pink Floyd had a baby
I dont know how i came across this but i fucking love it. And. Its the only one ive listened to so far. On repeat multiple times.
Must explore more.
So much more!

@@mhtate Same here bud!!
Rick definitely had that dawg in him for this one. Straight pimping the jam section.
Y’all are amazing can’t wait to see y’all again soon
Not that he needs it but I'm loving the vocal effects on this.
just discovered this band and im amazed. i toured in post hardcore bands for a decade but really wish I spent my time making real music like these guys lol

I love, love, love this band! I'll be having such a bad day and I bump into these concerts and I realize how stupid my problems are! 🤗👏✌️🍺😜💯💕💕💕💕

What a beautiful song ❤
Thank you

🙌
The ryman is gonna be sick ❤
I love how this show included trevor saying "titties" in a very serious voice
Huh, what?
@@aidannichols23 His poetry reading in the middle of Empress of Organos...
Whewwwwww 🚀
Just got my Goose B-Ballers shirt in the mail heyo! 🤓
Wow okay is this the first time i am hearing Rick sing this with his raw angelic voice? Whatever it is this is my absolute favorite version holyyy ❤
This is like 110% autotune haha
@@Rockcityballs “autotune” is no different than using guitar pedals. The guy can obviously sing. Its to fit an electronic vibe.
@@Chriscarpenter2 yea im not complaining its just not his "raw angelic voice"
I swore they were gonna go into Eminence Front.
ya ya ya ya ya
Diggity diggity dankness !!!
That that jam playing through the 16-minute mark sounds almost like STS9 lol
Hearing a band that can go from a “normal” jam type straight into something like that is a HUGE reason i’ve gotten into them lately.
I knew I should have spent the night and show day hiding out in the basement at the Theatre for this show
When does it end?
10:40 ish, Oh My God, they made the annoying high notes actually sound chill as all get out.
EDIT: This rules.
Rick you are so that cool hippie skinny stoner friend that knew everything

I fall asleep easier when listening to Goose. So I listen to Goose every night I can. They like Grateful Dead, only even smoother.
Peter's dance moves are part Richard Simmons, part Richard Prior.
Slow Ready vs. So Ready?
What's the difference besides arrangement? Different meaning? Is there a story behind it? Am I thinking too deeply about it?
yes
Tempo thats it i believe
slow ready is for the sheets and so ready is for the streets
@@brewkoskie Giga Chad in the streets, Trevor Weekz in the sheets
01:30 peter is on one! 😂

although venues usually cover that.
Slight Umphree's McGeeish
its so much better without the synth!!! his voice is angelic I dont know why he uses it
Turn Trevor up
Trevor in an anime shirt is freaking AWESOME
This is a Bucee’s, sir.
Yo Neato
Idk..ijdk
never seen this many nerds at a concert before.
From Italy....i ❤ Goose
